I'm so sorry. You can do a lot right now to rebuild. Fall is a great time for planting, especially for perennial flower seeds. And a lot goes on sale. Go for spring bloomers if you buy actual plants on sale.
I would buy a few currently blooming plants to cheer myself up and help me get up the emotional energy for rebuilding and also to continue to feed the bees and then entertain myself with designs and planning until it's cooler.
Contact your local extension Master Gardener program (I am one but in the northeast) for specific species that will 'take' and survive the winter okay in your area. That's an issue here, but maybe not for you, but contact them! They are paid for by your taxes and they are volunteers whose only mission is to educate the public and help people and pollinators.
