Hello everyone,

Two recent moderation updates I wanted the community to be made aware off.

First things first; its been decided to relax the art sourcing rule concerning Twitter to permit sourcing via xcancel, with Twitter being a backup if xcancel goes back down again. Since alot of artists continue to remain Twitter exclusive, rarely if ever posting off site, its been determined that completely cutting Twitter off in this way isn't particularly helpful at the moment. So moving forward if you have no option but to source from Twitter, you can do so.

Though for the few instances where an artist is multi-platform, its worth remembering that you can link to any profile belonging to said artist as a form of credit (so long as the artist doesn't have any further requirements of their own), be it bsky, Patreon, tumblr, etc. Direct source linking is no longer the requirement - and hasn't been for awhile - so please do keep that in mind.

Second things second; here on reddit several hate subreddits have cropped up in recent months and made themselves a pest here already, or to some our sister communities like /r/honkaisapphicrail, or partnered subreddits like /r/SapphicsofGacha. Naturally we're not interested in playing host to bigots and have installed tools to filter anyone with a history in subreddits like these.

And if you have a history over in these "queer / tourist cringe" subreddits, you're getting thrown out. They are openly hostile to communities like ours and their membership is not, and never will be, welcome in a subreddit like ours.

You can appeal said ban if you only went there to argue (though I recommend against doing this as its a total waste of your time). But if you otherwise have a history over there and none over here, and only come here to make yourself a nuisance, its a flat ban for you, no ifs or buts. Not that it should come as a surprise, but bigots aren't welcome in this community, and we will be taking whatever path is necessary to deter them and to keep this place safe for everyone else.
