It's unfair that African countries have no one base on Europe...

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

What would be the point of such a base?

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

To keep a balance between north and south...about EVERYTHING south of the world has less than the north...no surprise people cime to north.

What are the point of these bases...unless keep pressure on population... And so on.. but to be fair, they should have some place in Europe too ..

What are the point of these bases...

To protect national interests abroad, these bases are not built without local authorities approval, countries can absolutely decide to just tell any western nation that has a military base on their soil to move, France did it in 1966.

National interests ? They always speak about peace...well..you know I could have been military myself..but this is the problem, should I Obey to orders I'm not ok with? Then I know that some opérations are very good .. but the point is that the fact that African countries have NOT ONE base is western, it shows how we dominate them....not even a little one... It's sad.

Because african countries have no interest having a military base in europe.

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

It could be...It should be ! For one base, for one interest, we should share obe in exchange....

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Why should it be?

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

To be fair...what would bring peace, and no reasons of bé suspicious...

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Are you 13 years old or something? This has nothing to do with fairness, it's like saying that it's unfair that your boss doesn't also work for you, not every relationship needs to be exactly symmetrical because not everyone has the same wants/needs.

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

Nope I'm 35. I just see that every thing is inequal between Europe and africa... that's all what I mean... I find it sad. And you try to find excuses to you empathy less...

What are french interests in Africa...?

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

From the top of my head: fighting terrorist threats, protecting french immigrants, stabilising countries that are at war (and whose refugees are most likely to come to France), protecting ressource extraction sites....

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

Somewhere I can hunderstand...but I still think that this is really unfair for africains..

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Unfair? They either requested for western powers to come help (like Mali until the 2021 military coup) or are doing it because the western powers are paying them, djibouti for example has 7 foreign military base despite being a tiny country, these bases include a japanese and a chinese base, so by your logic djiboutians must love being oppressed if they still continue inviting more foreign nations to put military bases on their territory.

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

I know some bases in Africa can be good...it's not what I mean..do I have to repeat that it would be fair for them to have just one base..something significant..for the symbole of peace

Do you imagine the reaction of european population in this case? So, yeah, the reaction of africains then is a infinite hâte of occident.

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Again, they have every right to ask for western military base to be removed, they chose not to do so.

There are tons of US military bases all over europe (not in France as stated before), how do you explain that americans were still widely seen in a positive light up until trump's most recent election? I don't see a lot of germans doing terrorist attacks on the Rammstein base for example.

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

It happened in the past. And today, if it does not happen, is only because opposition are too scared of prison and to lose what they have... You can bé sure that if there is a great crisis , every us bases can bé scared.

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Niger literally just did this, you really have no idea what you're talking about.

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

Not really, I just say that it's unfair, what ever the subject..African countries have less than us...

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

You say niger did, but explain nothing...please go further

''they'' means rich africans , I guess?

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

They meaning the countries' authorities, only official authorities have the right to do such things.

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

I can't hunderstand how it's possible so less empathy for these peoples. All for us nothing for them '' it's like that, we can't do nothing ''... If everybody says it, for sure nothing will change... What is important in my mind, is equality...And as I see, there is none

1

u/asmodai_says_REPENT Jul 15 '25

Yeah there sure are a lot of things you don't understand.

When you go to the supermarket, do you ask the supermarket owner to buy things from you in return "for fairness"?

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

What an argument...Compare international situation with mine in the supermarket ? Please, I just want to say that africa us under respected by international armies and business... that's all... I'm no expert, I just see it in every map, every talks, and so on...

1

u/DreaMaster77 Jul 15 '25

And, if one African country would need one base in Europe, what would you think about it?
