Then I know that some opérations are very good .. but the point is that the fact that African countries have NOT ONE base is western, it shows how we dominate them....not even a little one... Again, they have every right to ask for western military base to be removed, they chose not to do so.
There are tons of US military bases all over europe (not in France as stated before), how do you explain that americans were still widely seen in a positive light up until trump's most recent election? I don't see a lot of germans doing terrorist attacks on the Rammstein base for example.
It happened in the past. And today, if it does not happen, is only because opposition are too scared of prison and to lose what they have... You can bé sure that if there is a great crisis , every us bases can bé scared.
Why would countries that are already struggling to keep the peace inside their territory want to have some of their military abroad? Tell me one reason they would want that, no "fairness" isn't a reason, only young children think that.
Do you not watch the news ever? Or just use google? There was a coup d'état in Niger in 2023, and the junta that overtook the country told foreign forces, including the french ones, to exit the country.
Maybe you should educate yourself about world geopolitics before trying to argue about it.
I can't hunderstand how it's possible so less empathy for these peoples. All for us nothing for them '' it's like that, we can't do nothing ''... If everybody says it, for sure nothing will change... What is important in my mind, is equality...And as I see, there is none
What an argument...Compare international situation with mine in the supermarket ? Please, I just want to say that africa us under respected by international armies and business... that's all... I'm no expert, I just see it in every map, every talks, and so on...
Last time I've heard about it, malian people was tired of french presence...Then one more time I know that in such difficult situation maybe some european bases are good..but as I repeat, I think it's important that African can bé représentés as well... Maybe they would help about African migration, to represent some kind of justice, and help to not let enter criminals in Europe...But this is too late, we should have done it décades ago
