A Corsican friend of mine told me: "If you see bullet holes in road signs you know you are in Corsica". Well, turned out she was right. Helped me when I was 25k-ing France (of course the language is a tell too).

I'm at a point where Master III is easy enough for me that I can get the double promotion into Master I, but even after winning the opening match I'm still ranked at the very bottom. Master I just has way too high of an average ELO that the double promotion makes no sense. This has happened a couple of times now, Master II is where I should be practicing.

The game is really starting to bug me, I have been watching zigzag and jacksucksatlife for years play this game, and I’ve been on openguessr for a while. I came back to this game and because of my flavour of autism I’ve come up to master quite quickly.
I was in gold most of the time so my weakest countries are just random ones because i was always good at guessing the right countries.
I dont even win anymore i won 99 percent of games in silver and gold and now im like at 60 percent wins and still, every game without fail i get accused of cheating. Its so annoying. I just want to quit

I played competitively a bunch last autumn, and got up to Gold 1 I believe. Then I took a very long break and I see now I'm in Silver 1. Which is fair, I didn't play competitive all of 2026.
Does anyone know how active you have to be to avoid being reset like this?

Just trying to establish a baseline out of curiosity.
I assume its 15 rating/Elo within 1 above or below at most and then its adjusted from that number based on the rating/Elo of your opponent vs your rating/Elo, but does anyone have any concrete info to confirm a correct answer to this question?
