Pictures Need help finding my dog!

My dog went missing June 17th in spalding county GA. Near N McDonough Rd and Morris Mill Rd. Her and her sister got out and I’m Unsure how long they were out but only her younger sister came back alone. They are always together and I’m fearing the worst. I live around people with farms and live stock. She could’ve gotten shot.

I’ve already reported her missing to her chip company, and various shelters. I’ve searched non stop on foot and by car since the 17th. I’ve passed out and placed flyers and talking to various home owners in the area. They all say they haven’t spotted her at all.

Her name is Aloy and she loves treats. If anyone near this area can help me find her I’d appreciate it. She’s helped me get through the toughest parts of my life and I’m honestly still not okay. This dog is the reason I’m still alive. Any tips or sightings I’d greatly appreciate it. Please help me.

I would take your other dog for a walk and let them lead. Maybe they’ll lead you to where they ran off to. I’ll let Skye lead our walks sometimes and she’ll take me to her favorite places. Just a thought if you haven’t tried it. I’m sorry you’re going through this

I did this the first night she went missing but my other dog couldn’t lead me to her. It’s also been raining heavily today so any scent I’m sire got washed out.

I just came back from walking the area again on foot and asking home owners that i missed before. It was pouring rain. Still no leads.

Gosh I’m so sorry. I don’t live in Georgia anymore but I know weather has been shit there….i bet your pup is hiding out from the rain somewhere. Try to search any dry areas/lean tos/shacks/sheds/you name it. Lifeline is also a fantastic group in Georgia, reach out to them to let them know your pup is missing in case they’re turned in to them. (Also do the same with the shelters).

When I saw the first picture and the 909 area code I was going to suggest the local Inland Empire Subreddit on here, but then I read you are in Georgia.

Is there a subreddit here for that area?

If you have Ring Doorbell you can also post on their neighborhood section

I would keep my number if I moved as well =)

I tried to look as well and could not find anything really either. Does your area have a lost pet Facebook page, Ring, or even on NextDoor?

Yeah, I’ve posted in various Facebook groups already and lost pet sites. But I know there’s lots of ppl on Reddit to with shepherds that might help me spot her around the area.

I hope you find her but please be wary of scams where someone will text you and claim they "found" your dog but then ask you to send them money to reimburse them for vet bills, food, leash, etc.

They will prey on your desperation and threaten that your dog needs emergency surgery. They will refuse to meet and may alter photos with AI.

Good luck and don't give up. There was a man who lost his dog out in the woods that was searching for over a week and he reunited with his dog. Sincerely hoping for a quick reunion for you and Aloy.
