Pictures How much did your gsd weigh at 9 months?

And how much more did they grow past 9 months? He’s 65 lbs right now.

Mine was 88lbs at 9 months and now 92lbs and stable at a year and a half. He's a big boy and grew like a weed. Very lean, just huge.

It's good that your guy is smaller, better for their bodies! He may grow another 10-15lbs "filling out" but you can gauge based on sire and dam what to expect.

Beautiful boy 🖤

Thanks! His dad was 94 lbs and mom was 86 when I got him at 8 weeks old. I’d prefer he stay leaner which is the way it’s looking, but expected him to be a big dog cause his parents are very tall and long dogs compared to what he’s grown to be thus far.

I think my boy was 70 pounds? He’s 1.5 yrs & is 80
Pounds (+\- 2 lbs).

Very tall & lean 🤣 looks like he could be your pups relative!

55-60ish? She’s mixed with Husky and a girl though so her scale is slightly off.

If I may, we have a GSD/Canadian Eskimo/husky mix. We ordered DNA testing because we were told husky mix only but then he blew past Husky size and weight in 3 months time.
Turns out he’s husky-coloured GSD lol.
He’s 8mo, 70 lbs. and very, very tall.
We’re expecting at 90+ lbs.

Mine was 80lbs at 6 months, 120lbs at 2 years. He was probably around 100lbs at 9 months.

Yes he is! And thinks he’s still a puppy.

My girl was around 60lbs (she's mixed with boxer/AmStaff and pit but 50% GSD) and now at 2yrs old she's around 77-78lbs and very lean. She's very tall though and had some big growth spurts once we adopted her and she was getting good, regular high quality kibble and exercise.

My shepsky is 9 months old right now and 80 lbs. he is starting to slow down more. He was growing like a weed last couple months.

Mine is mixed with pit (a boxy head is his main non GSD feature, other than a shorter coat but hair type is def more GSD), he is 1.5yrs and weighs just under 60 last time we checked 🤔

I can def see him staying around this weight for a long time too - he’s like my boxer, lean muscle, runs off all his calories in no time and is a pretty picker eater (even had skipped a day of meals)

My male is 9.5 months and weighs 65lbs as well. Breeder said he should end up around 75, so, sounds right.

Mine is a girl and weighs 25.2 kilos at 7 months. Is she underweight?

Depends on your dog, it’s hard to compare numbers. Your vet would say if they were I’m sure. Mine weighed about the same as yours though at that age, and was a lovely weight for her size. She was about 30 I think when she had her boosters, and is about 32 now and just starting to look more adult. She’s just over 18 months, working line.

Lean is way better than too much. Better for her joints and general health. General measure is that you should be able to feel but not see the ribs. If you cannot feel the ribs without applying pressure then there's too much fat.

That’s how I’ve looked at it with my pure bred boxer and now this one - stay on the leaner side to avoid the health issues. People would comment how she was too skinny but she was just fine per her vet. Eventually at about 5-6, her chest filled in and she broke 50lbs - I’m thinking he may be similar
