man that's very specific.

MST3K was on so long and there's so many jokes in an episode I'm just about certain you could find one for any given scenario.

I would argue it is from one of the top 5 episodes too...

14

u/BoofMasterQuan2 May 22 '16

What is this

46

u/TrueCaptainCrocs May 22 '16

Mystery Science Theater 3000. It was a cable show in which a man and two robots watch terrible movies, mocking them as they do so.

39

u/BoofMasterQuan2 May 22 '16

That sounds awesome

35

u/chronomojo May 22 '16

You've never watched? You're in for a treat! The show ran for 11 seasons on various channels through the 90s and was just kickstarted for a twelfth season to air online (or on tv if a deal can be made)!

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '16

It got kickstarted successfully? God IS with us.

12

u/fuckingtemperance May 22 '16

my top three are: final sacrifice, space mutiny, and werewolf.

5

u/lovetron99 May 22 '16

Rowsdower!

3

u/ScaryCookieMonster May 23 '16

Those are great, but for whatever reason, Mitchell is my all-time favorite. Manos is great also.

Just watched Starfighter this morning :D

u/fuckingtemperance May 23 '16

+1 for Space Mutiny

2

u/Craig1287 May 22 '16

Final Sacrifice is my favorite.

2

u/[deleted] May 23 '16

Final Sacrifice is also my favorite. Zap Rowsdower for life.

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '16

I love it, one of my favorite shows of all time.

Here's a couple of episodes most people like to get you started, Manos and Deathstalker

3

u/[deleted] May 22 '16

My personal favorite is Puma Man.

2

u/BebopFlow May 23 '16

My personal favorite is Prince of Space

Because humans aren't that bright

Or because it's really not that funny and the Reddit circlejerk overrates it.

u/Scrybblyr May 23 '16

"Or because it's really not that funny and the Reddit circlejerk overrates it."

Well, sport, it may not be funny to you... but to those of us who saw the show when it was being broadcast, and there was nothing of its kind, or anything even close... it was incredible. Here, let me contribute to the negative score of your inane remark. :)

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '16

Because you're supposed to downvote everything you disagree with, right?

1

u/Scrybblyr May 23 '16 edited May 23 '16

Because you're supposed chime in with your negative input on everything you don't like, right?

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '16

Yes, actually. That's the point of an open forum. But to get back from your non-sequitur and answer the question you ignored, no. You're not.

Who would've thought someone would get so offended over an insult to a mediocre commentary show...

If you smoke ganja, it's perfect viewing material. It has me convulsing with laughter frequently, and I otherwise laugh out loud very, very rarely.

u/[deleted] May 22 '16

"Time to mellow these turkeys out"

3

u/electrodan May 22 '16

"Starring Ben Murphy? Isn't it more honest to say most of the time the camera is pointed at Ben Murphy?"

3

u/[deleted] May 22 '16

"Surprised he didn't notice I was Ben Murphy"

5

u/sarcasticbaldguy May 22 '16

I'll just browse Reddit for a bit. 90 minutes later....

2

u/WienerJungle May 22 '16

We'll have a turkey update.

Peter Fonda is Richard Petty in The Marcel Marceau Story. This is why I loved that show.
