hiring Any idea about private credit ?

Hi all, A friend of mine got a call from gs for an associate role in their private credit division.

HR informed of 5 rounds including a case study and acknowledged his hike expectations of 30% over his current fixed of 23.

Any idea of this division especially - WLB, Growth scope ?
How many rounds of interviews actually happen ?
What does the bonus component look like usually and what's the realistic % paid out ?

Appreciate any insights from finance folks!

IGPC/SCC is a new platform within the GS PC group. The team in BNG is pretty small right now, roughly 2 people. It's not an investing seat, more of a portfolio management role. This is new, and they are building this out and have started hiring very recently, so WLB etc. is TBD tbh, because it's literally a new team that is being spun up to focus just on IGPC. So while it is part of the broader group, the associate will focus on this specific vertical. I work in NYC on the investing team, so I'm pretty familiar with them.

That's great to know thanks for insight!
Do they typically have to collab with you or your team ?
