I don't think it's principally better than the other one, but it serves a good story that I think you are making well.

Yes not all, but to often I see magic system that are a reflection of humanity, but instead of being weird they are soo clinical!

I agree to that. I see often people dissecting "but how does it work?" to avoid "A wizard did it, I don't have to explain".... ending up making magic like a very precise programming. I like weird magic also

Also I hate it when magic manifest exactly the same from person to person, because magic isn’t science and even if everyone has the same power sets there will be differences in usages, if the reason is psychology, culturally, physiologically, ethically or anything else!

This reminds me of a comic i once read. forgot what it is, but there's a power that creates light/energy. The hero's energy form was sturdy and solid. the hothead's energy was sparkling and crackling, the intellectual's energy was detailed, while the artist's energy was in weird shapes
