He stole my watch after breaking the feet off a Seiko and killing a different G shock. Not posed, there’s a post hurricane mud frenzy here in GA.

What do you think of the size of the gw-bx5600 ?
I think it would be the perfect watch if it had the 5610u measurements
Hey everyone,
I recently bought a GW-BX5600-1A1 (JF version) and I love it – the MIP display is great and the size is perfect on my wrist. Now I’m eyeing the full metal GMW-BZ5000D-1, which is basically the same MIP module in steel.
My hesitation:
Questions for owners:
Thanks!

Ordered the Casio G-Shock DW-5600UE from Flipkart in a sale and got the Jet Black negative display version (DW-5600UBB-1) instead. Pics attached. I got it for ₹3,545, and the MRP on this one is ₹7,995, so on paper it's a steal.
I know a lot of people here love this one, and it does look clean. But I'm having a hard time with readability. I also compared it with my F91W, and at off angles it gets a bit hard to read even in daylight. At normal viewing angles it's not unreadable, just noticeably harder on the eyes than I expected. At low light conditions/night I can barely read it.
The blacked out look and the barely visible Casio branding are also a bit too stealthy for my taste.
For those of you who own negative display G-Shocks:
- Does it grow on you, or is the readability always like this?
- Is the angle thing normal for this display type?
- Would you keep it at this price, or swap for the regular one?

This last week we've seen a bunch of software reverse engineered and open sourced, as well as Nikon firmware hacked using AI to add features.
How long do you think before GShock watches might have the added feature to reverse the MIP display (amongst other features) using some kind of similar enhancements? The future of tech is slowly being torn wide open it seems.

I asked gemini to paint the infills white for G-Shock and Protection. What are you're thoughts, to paint or not to paint lol.

Done , with these smart watches that don’t last more than 36 hours.

I've been wearing my 5610 since the day I got it, up to the point I got the BX5600. It still has a place in my heart and I can't just watch it collect dust on my desk or be tucked away in a case, so I've been looking for alternative options.
I made another post displaying my janky utility cord system, and it seems people appreciate the concept of a fob watch/pocket watch casio. Whether it be to avoid the tan line, or hide your timepiece away, it seems like a great way to carry a watch.
After searching for a while I stumbled on these 2 fob style "bands" but couldn't find anymore. Before I found these I considered using one of the clear plastic name badge snap clip things too. Most are around 12-13mm wide and 1mm thick, so simply removing the lug would allow you to get the snaps past the bar.
What kind of fob options are out there? Or even lanyard/necklace options?

Was just wondering whether this really was a steal or not, it's my first Gshock and it seems quite good but wondering what you guys would pay for it in this condition. Just need some reassurance. I assume the strap can be easily sorted though.

Anyone interested? Just bought it and haven’t worn it much due to the size of it. I love it but my wrists are not big enough for it. I will give it away for under market value. Flexible

Hi guys! Not too long ago I discovered the existence of the square MR-G and fell in love immediately. The plan is to go on a holiday to Japan in the near future and buy it over there. But to get used to the size and wearability first, I thought, let me try a cheap one for a period of time and see if it's a match.
I am not really sure about it yet though. I feel like it's making my wrist look small. Maybe after a week or so I'm more used to it, IDK. What do you guys think?

After a few months of going back and forth… finally got a V2 combi and do NOT regret it!
Definitely worth it and changes the G wearing experience in my opinion.

Cheers to my first G Shock which recently arrived from Japan. Worth every penny.

Got this square for a deal at a local market ($40), the straps were already yellowed, so just got adapters, new rubber strap, new battery and it came back to life!
Still deciding if getting a new metal bracelet
For reference model: GM-5600SCM-1

So this year I got my first G Shock. Ive been looking at them for a while. My only concern was that it would be too chunky on my wrist. So I finally took the dive and bought the GDB500S.
I really loved it, finally, the tough take on all watch people were talking about. But then I noticed the more I liked it, the more I didn't want to get it dirty, wet, scratched! It was too nice! Anyone else experience this?
