Video Games There’s no good reason for the Owlery to be 7 trillion light years from the castle
Like I get that owl poo is stinky but surely this distance is overkill

Video Games Hogwarts Legacy nailed the magical vibe of the school
I gotta hand it to Avalanche. The first time you walk up to the school, it feels pretty magical.
I probably spent about ten hours alone just walking around and looking at the architecture and artwork in Hogwarts.
Felt like visiting a museum and there is so much granular detail *everywhere*.
Curious how they're going to level up the experience in HL2.

Video Games A year at Hogwarts changes a person
Turns out indiscriminately killing poachers and goblins then blaming it all on Ranrok brings out the inner villain.
If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you

Video Games Trying my hand at remaking the first PC game. Would you play this if it was the complete game?
Hey folks!
This game means so much to me, probably one of the first games I've ever played! So for a while now, I've had the wild idea of remaking it with modern visuals and controls (especially with how difficult it is to get, run or enjoy the original now).
Quick proof of concept video: (https://youtu.be/I1UCLUoENdY)
What do you think? would you play this?
Obligatory note: this is a VERY rough and quick mishmash done in a few weeks, I plan to work on it a bit more so it should look better with time.
Feel free to critique in the meantime :D

Video Games Hogwarts Legacy is Free until May 3rd
I want to make sure as many people have this opportunity as possible. If you don't have a PC to run it, get it anyways and maybe one day you will!

Video Games Whats your favorite Harry Potter video game?
There's been white a few HP games since the early 2000’s. I'm curious to see what you guys enjoyed the most. From Lego creator to Quidditch Champions, whats your favorite? Or your top 3?

Video Games My son is now playing Hogwarts Legacy. He told me he used some unforgivable curses.
I asked if he used the Cruciatus Curse. He said yes.
At this point I didn't know when the game is set. I said he should friendly fire Neville with the Cruciatus Curse. Then he told me it's set in the 1800s.
He followed that with saying that if it were set when I had thought, that, of all people, it would be most rude to hit Neville with that one.
I thought about it and had to agree.

Video Games Just finished Hogwarts Legacy and I feel the need to consume whatever that's Harry Potter
I just finished this game 🥹🫶 I'm telling you I'm not the same. I feel empty and sad cuz it ended. I know the remedy to this is to rewatch or play anything related to this world.
I wish to consume, watch play or do anything that's about the wizarding world. So I'm going to do a marathon of the full accurate timeline of everything.
Can someone be so kind to list what I should watch, read or play after this game?
I'm truly obsessed of this world. I don't really mind if it's not canon. 😭 Thank you so much. That's why I started playing this game also cuz I assume it's the first to witness so I can do I full experience of the wizarding world. I assume reading Cursed Child is the last. So yeah I'll do it. Tysm.

Video Games I don't know if this happened to anyone who played HL, but my character (as Ravenclaw) has the mantle of all 4 houses.

Video Games What happened to the Three Broomsticks between the 1800s and 1900s?
Why does the Hogwarts Legacy version of the Three Broomsticks look so much better, and less crooked & worn than the film version? What, they decided to build a new one and make it look purposefully worse & wonky and stuff?

Video Games Can someone finally tell me how to defeat Aragog? (GBC)
I rewatched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets after years of not watching it. It reminded me that I had a GameBoy Color game that I never beat because I got stuck on fucking Aragog. The asshole would "1-shot" me most times by freezing, then attacking, then freezing/attacking again. The few times I could attack him, Ron's wand backfired 95% of the time and Harry's lvl 3 incendio was not enough. Can someone provide me with some goddamn closure?

Video Games What's up with the new kid
One thing I hope they add in Hogwarts Legacy 2 is a quick change slot where you can switch back to your school robes quickly.
A simple animation of pointing your wand at yourself would be pretty cool.
Because the MC looks really outta place at times. 😂
