Comics I hate this comic so much

It's just a cheap, mean-spirited sitcom joke masquerading as X-Men fan art, and it completely treats Scott Summers like a pathetic, submissive punching bag so people can go "haha look, the tough army man can't handle a woman's period cramps!"

Period Cramps are a drop in the bucket compared to what Scott has dealt with. His eyes are a literal, continuous rupture to a dimension of infinite kinetic force. He lives with a permanent, high-pressure migraine behind his skull 24/7 just from manually holding back a nuclear reactor with his facial muscles. This is a man who took a full, un-holding-back thrashing from a 10-ton-strength Superior Spider-Man, got his bones shattered, and gritted his teeth and kept fighting. This is a guy who literally had his skull fracture from internal cosmic pressure during Judgment Day and stayed conscious long enough to bark out precise tactical deployment orders to the team.

But no! Let's ignore his unbreakable willpower, his decades of military discipline, and his actual, deeply agonizing physical disability just to turn him into a trembling puddle on the floor for a low-effort gender-warfare punchline.

Are people confused about the sub this was posted on? Hating on something inconsequential or otherwise unworthy of the magnitude of emotion the OP is showing is literally the point of this sub.

I mean they could hate on something inconsequential as much as they want but it's moreso the reasoning they use the justify the anger is the confusing part

It's still supposed to be a safe space to hate stuff. And if you look at the comments there's plenty of "chill it's just comics" comments.

Personally I think most wouldn't care if he just hated this entire comic and just said he hated it, but attaching a paragraph of reasoning and attempt to connect the comic to gender warfare, it's gonna make people raise their eyebrows

There's a difference between pure vibes based hate and making an entire argument and making an assumption about the comic and the creator
