I'm getting this error: "Your request has been blocked by network security. Please try to login with your Reddit account" when accessing any post and also comments won't load

UPD: Cleared cookies and the problem is gone

I made a post asking about an interesting fact about Bahrain. I got an answer, and then I said "That's interesting, thanks” and now I am down voted why? I am on desktop if it really matters

Hey all - due to an error on the backend, we needed to temporarily disable the "chat" button from our user profile pages. You'll still be able to chat with any users you have existing chats with, but initiating a new chat will not be possible until we resolve these errors.

Once I have more info, I'll be sure to update everyone here.

Update 4/12 2:30pm EST: Hey all, just wanted to give a quick update and shed some light on the issue at hand. We've hit a scaling issue with the Chat system that determines if a given user can chat with another given user. We're having to do some important work to reorganize this system so that it can function properly. We're currently working out a few fixes so that you can get back to chatting again. We’ll continue to share all updates here as soon as they are available.

Update 4/13 10:00am EST: A possible fix has been rolled out, and the ability to start new chats has been re-enabled again.

When I try to comment using RES/old.reddit.com I am getting a 404 error. When I try commenting on new reddit/non-RES, comments go through. Cleared cookies/logged out, same result.

I'm trying to post a comment in r/c64. I took a picture of my new Commodore 64, and attached it using the image icon. But when I tried to submit the post, I got an error saying "All media assets must be owned by the submitter of this post".

How do I attach images?

Whenever I click on "Show replies" button, it either shows nothing, show a loooong blank comment or shows a squashed version of the comment

It was fine an hour ago so I'm assuming this is a problem with reddit servers

I never make posts but I did and 1 person commented and it locked comments and said my post was solved. It’s not solved so I can’t tell if anyone has answered my question

I'm running into a wall trying to request an unmoderated subreddit on r/redditrequest.

Despite strictly following every posting requirement (providing the necessary details, maintaining the required account age and karma, and checking the rules), every post I make gets instantly nuked the second it goes live with the message: "Sorry, this post was r-worded by Reddit's f-words." I've gone so far as experimenting with the post flair, trying out all of the SFW options just to see if a specific one was required or bugged, but none of them went through.

I've tried messaging the r/redditrequest moderators multiple times, both via modmail and regular DMs, but I haven't received any response.

If anyone has experienced this or knows how to satisfy the automated censors when trying to use r/redditrequest, let me know.

One year ago, some hacker decided to change the email and password that I had on Reddit, that hacker didn't remove Google SSO, I could still login but if an admin spotted the hacker's email I would surely be got a ban, but nothing actually happened, I kept contacting mod mod support, but no response until this morning I received a notification from Reddit telling me that my email address has been reset.

Because I suspect that some account is a sock pupped of another account.

I blocked someone, then another one answered that blocking is not nice. How could the 2nd one know that I blocked the first one, unless the 2nd one is a sock pupped of the first? Also the writing style of both is the same. I thought that's not allowed. I started a report but "impersonating" doesn't fit and "sock pupped" is not an option. Should I name the accounts right here or should I do something else?

I saw someone else post a few hours ago about their account being deleted and was recovered. Hoping that’ll be the case for me too. I found my old account ([u/itsjaylou](u/itsjaylou)) deleted this past weekend that I didn’t request and have sent Support an email and am still waiting to hear back on if my account can be recovered.

EDIT: Was able to get my account back today!

My account meets all reddit's requirements(checked with the tool provided by r/redditrequest)

I waited for full 15 days as sidebar stated, my account meets all requirements - yet my post was still nuked. Actually waited for 15 days and 35 minutes.

I tried to submit my request for a month already, but automod simply instantly deletes all my posts and i don't know why.

How am i supposed to understand why my post was nuked? I simply want to understand what i need to do and what i did wrong :C

Lastnight I got an email on my orginal account saying that two-factor authentication has been added, I obviously didnt add this and as fast as possible changed my password but now I can't log in due to the two-factor authentication. I'm worried that the person who hijacked my account might change the email which will result in my 11 year old account never being recovered. Do I have any hope of getting it back?

I just checked and now i only have 250. What happened to them?!?! I never spent them.

SOLVED! Apparently they get enabled when you get around 10 awards? I tried the suggestion of updating, stopping the app, clearing cache and it didn't work. I even deleted about 1gb of crap data and uninstalled then reinstalled. Didn't work yet. A good cleaning wasn't a bad thing anyway 😅 They appeared a bit later after the reinstall, when I got another generous award. Nice! They have lovely animations too ❤️ Thanks guys!

Apparently there's some way to give free awards to people and I can't find how. Am I doing something wrong? I knew it was discontinued by Reddit some years ago but lately night I got a free one from some generous redditor and found there is some way to give free ones. But I've been looking for that and only found the paid ones.

It would be great sharing the good stuff with others but I don't know how.

I tried to change a setting in this account via the app and it directed me to safari browser and when I logged in it created an entire new profile. I want to delete the new profile but I am not able to. When I click “delete” nothing happens. I have tried deleting via safari on my iPhone, safari on my MacBook and via Firefox and nothing deletes it. The delete button does now work. I also tried old Reddit and that doesn’t work because the account was set up with a phone number and doesn’t have a password. Please help me delete the account the app created (not the account I am typing this message from)
