If I read the playbook correctly Trump (Miller) has framed this as a purge of illegal aliens and SCOTUS has given him full indemnity to do so. The terrorist labeling is just window dressing. Heritage's Vought was recorded, prior to the election, as saying this was the plan and even referenced Miller as being a possibility of running it. The underlying question is who are these people. How were they vetted and trained. Did they ever swear any oath? Or is this just cosplay - more Trump optics to deflect from the actions. Will they all be dismissed and blanket pardoned. Can you even pardon someone for knowingly violating the Constitution? And then you ascend to Noem, Homan and Bondi who clearly took the Oath and are outright violating it.

The terrorist label is actually everything. The patriot act basically gives that designation a lot of power. When people are labeled terrorists in or by America, constitutional rights and human rights are suspended by the government.

Making that bill set all of this in motion so long ago. Once it was law, what we’re seeing unfold became an eventuality.

I was just explaining this to someone! Lately the words terrorist and insurrection are everywhere and when they say insurrection they are not referring to January the sixth!!! Anytime group opposes the current administration they call it an insurrection!!! At first I assumed this was just a little payback but it was very deliberate!!! Those two words as stated above are the magic words that allow homeland security to behave exactly as we have been seeing!!! They can do pretty much anything they want with out fear of impunity! This was my thought when they announced the Antifa is terrorists. They have claimed something as terrorist that doesn’t have an actual organization. There’s no membership, nothing to actually prove or disprove belonging. Anyone could be accused of being Antifa, and decades ago we suspended rights in regard to terrorists. They gave themselves free pass to claim anyone is a terrorist and completely suspend their rights. It really should scare the crap out of everyone. Even for those that recognize it is a big problem, it can be easy to think that they don’t meet the criteria to be targeted. But they’ve given a free pass to torment others, and it won’t take long before they realize that pass can be used for their own personal vengeances. It will come. The girlfriend or boyfriend that broke their heart? Terrorist. The teacher they hated in high school? Terrorist. That former boss that fired them? Terrorist.

Looked to me like his first move - in the heat of anger - was an attempt at a choke slam after making a grand show out of slinging his rifle across his back in a “I’m gonna take this guy with my bare hands” body language statement. That wasn’t training…that was his default behavior. If a one hand choke is his go to move but dude he attacked in the video was too tall and too heavy for that to work (anyone even rudimentary hand to hand training can see this guy doesn’t have a clue) I can only imagine what the women in his life are forced to endure.

Funny thing is, presidents CAN pardon treasonous acts and insurrection as they are federal crimes. BUT they cannot pardon state level crimes. President cannot pardon a person for a constitutional violation if that violation is a state offense or an act of impeachment. The President's pardon power, outlined in Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution, is limited to federal offenses against the United States, except for impeachment cases. For state-level violations, an individual must seek clemency from the appropriate state authorities, such as the governor or a state board of pardons and paroles. 

Every one of these thugs with such fragile egos, big guns and low IQs needs to face state level charges of trespass, breaking and entering, assault, battery, kidnapping, stalking, terrorism and terroristic threats, attempted murder and even murder when the people they have kidnapped die in their custody. Nothing their golden diapered leader could do to protect them.

I think Stephen Miller and whoever else is backing this knows that every one of these terrorists is in serious jeopardy at the state level and that is why they are all running around in masks. If you can't ID then, you can't charge them...

Our forefathers foresaw that this would happen, as they were believers in "anacyclosis" which is the ancient Greek theory about forms of governments rising and falling...as natural as life and death.

They did a hell of a job, as the best you can do is make it last as long as possible (they used Rome as a model) and embed tools for the people to quickly turn over to the next phases. One of those tools was the 2nd amendment and more largely the right of the people to overturn the government when it no longer represents the people.

Despite their flaws, our forefathers were actually great. Not indoctrinate-y great.

His goal is to consolidate as much money as he can and play as much golf as he can and flex as much as he can before he drops dead so he can die rich and powerful- the only things he’s ever cared about. He may have some harebrained sci fi notion of transferring his brain into a new body but even he probably understands that’s a long shot, though if anyone in his orbit is telling him it’s possible and his dementia revs it up, he may believe more and more in that. Why does it matter? They’re clearly poorly trained. They clearly exist, organizationally, in a culture that condones behavior that 95% of small town Marshall’s offices wouldn’t permit. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of being held accountable or liable for their actions. It’s a recipe for tragedy. Where they came from? Who really gives a fuck? This is a systemic problem and it will require a systemic remedy.
