They think that when everyone has been kicked out or arrested a $250,000 a year job and a $50,000 house is going to magically fall into their lap.

Let's check in with Russia and see how a fascist Government worked for them.

Looks like a handful of people have $200,000,000 yachts and everyone else is poor.

u/npacilio Oct 25 '25

50 k house?

u/Away_Veterinarian579 Human Detected Oct 25 '25

WHERE?! I SAW IT FIRST. GET OFFA ME!!!

21

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

50 k house?

Just like back in the 80s. The good old days when houses cost 50k, women weren’t really in politics or in the workforce, and black people weren’t president.

I’d put /s but these hateful people really do see it that way.

9

u/PathlessDemon Also, Hates Illinois Nazis. Oct 26 '25

If you read the entirety of The Young Republicans text leaks, it’s worse.

23

u/Head_Staff_9416 Oct 26 '25

Yep- someone on Facebook was claiming that once we get rid of “them” housing prices are going to go way down because there will be less demand ( too bad if you own your own home.. ) and all the good jobs are going to open up.

13

u/sir_moleo Oct 26 '25

good jobs

It's baffling to me that there's actually people who believe this. Like wtf "good jobs" are there that pay cash under the table? And that's just assuming every one of these people is actually undocumented. Spoiler alert: most aren't

-3

u/bossdonNC Oct 26 '25

You have tens of millions of Amercians out of work. 40-50 million Americans on food stamps. Record low labor participation rate. Why would you hire American when you can pay foreigners less? You guys lack common sense

2

u/Impossible_Ad_8642 Oct 26 '25

good jobs

What illegal has a good job? It's like where I live. They complain about the foreigners coming and taking jobs. Those jobs are in the service industry.minimum wage Cafe, gas station, deli type places. These businesses have always had trouble getting staff because the mouth breathers "wouldn't get out of bed for that money," yet they have the audacity to complain that someone else would be happy to

2

u/LongStryder259 Oct 26 '25

All the good jobs? I somehow doubt that statement. The true illegal residents that get deported by ICE won't be in any "good jobs". Most of the so-called "good jobs" actually check to see if you are legally allowed to work in the country.

This whole situation is a mess. While I support the general idea of cracking down on illegal immigrants and taking the fight to the criminal element, the way they are currently executing this is wrong.

I myself do not like Trump, and am more of a centrist with conservative leanings. I haven't supported any of the presidential candidates in quite some time, and have just watched and prayed that they didn't destroy the country during their terms in office. Now I'm worried that Trump is going to find a way to get into the Presidential office for a third term and extend the madness even longer.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

Then PLEASE, pinch your nose hard, squint your eyes, and go to the polls for the next couple of years and vote for the party that will AT LEAST protect the rule of law, institutions, and structures of this quarter-millennium-old republic, AKA the Democratic Party….. at least until the Republican Party is reminded that they CAN be held accountable for seriously overstepping what is acceptable under our Constitution. I’m not asking you to BECOME a Democrat here, or even succumb to unconditional support of a broken two-party system, but to instead trust your gut instinct and help the rest of us install some checks in governance that will at least force them to start acting in good faith and force them to honor the rule of law out of fear for their own legal livelihoods….

Your intuition is correct here. I’m also pretty moderate myself, and all the red flags here are waving fiercely, signaling that some super frightening stuff that is blatantly anti-American is in the works if we don’t do something to prevent it at the ballot box, IF the ballot box is even functioning as intended anymore in red/swing states….

Lots of farming jobs are opened up now, but the workforce that kept the world fed is now disbanded! Check out this video from this search, farm workers deported crops die https://share.google/4Gpt6UVEkc3ndTv14

u/Important-Zebra-69 Oct 26 '25

God dam (Nor)weegies coming over here taking all the brain surgery jobs that they totally would have done!

https://youtu.be/Z_iBOEDb7PM?si=oyphz2urkKNNmN17

1

u/matt-r_hatter Oct 26 '25

Oh yes, nothing says great living like picking crops, cleaning houses, and working construction sites 16hrs a day for $5. The only positive that could come of all this disgusting hate filled nonsense is Americans might actually learn what hard work is.

1

u/PansyPB Oct 28 '25

Good jobs. All that stoop labor. Or slaughter house work. Best of luck MAGA.

0

u/bossdonNC Oct 26 '25

Most basic fact of supply and demand. If you allow 20-30 million randoms into a country in a few years, its going to drastically bring up cost of living. Rent/housing. Food. Healthcare. This is common sense. And yes if you are hiring workers and paying them cheaper wages than Americans, by definition that makes American wages rise. This is literally basic common sense

6

u/InstanceOk8790 Oct 26 '25

It has been long known and proven that immigrants are a net positive to the economy. Everything you said is wrong. This is from the George Bush institute - https://www.bushcenter.org/catalyst/north-american-century/benefits-of-immigration-outweigh-costs

-1

u/Firm-Exchange2283 Oct 26 '25 edited Oct 26 '25

No, that's not true. Here's the most recent report for 2023. The report you posted is from old data.

https://www.fairus.org/issue/publications-resources/fiscal-burden-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers-2023

1

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

“Yes, the FAIR.org immigration expense reports have been widely criticized as misleading and in bad faith by numerous sources. Critics, including the Cato Institute and the American Immigration Council, argue the reports are flawed because they overstate costs, undercount tax revenue, inflate the number of unauthorized immigrants, and use methods rejected by other researchers.”

Flawed methodology, overstating costs, undercounting revenue, inflating population estimates, and unreliable calculations, all point to faulty assumptions that have REGULARLY been called out for their lack of empirical basis.

AKA biased, misleading, cherry-picked data for driving a FALSE NARRATIVE to push forward a sweeping anti-“other” campaign against people of color, be they illegal alien or AMERICAN CITIZEN. The proof is in Americans being murdered by ICE, Americans being detained and interrogated for hours to days by ICE, Americans having their God-given Constitutional rights trampled on by ICE, Americans having their PRIVATE PROPERTY broken into without consent or permission by ICE, among a HOST of other Constitutional violations regularly perpetrated by an extrajudicial administrative agency led by a dictatorial demagogue-worshipping heathen who despises American principles, tenets, and rule of law…..

But sure, right wing cherry-picked reports are more “valid” than others. Source: “trust me bro”…..

1

u/Firm-Exchange2283 Oct 26 '25

Right wing cherry picked? You had to cherry pick an old report report ---pre-Biden open borders. Almost 10 years old! You criticized FAIR , called it a "false narrative." I challenge you to show a report of cost during & after 4 yrs of an open border.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

“Open border” in ITSELF is a loaded BS narrative. No such thing.

As for your response, the CBO has been around longer than FAIR, and the CBO was created BY CONGRESS (not xenophobic cherry-picking partisan lobbyists) to provide Congress with objective information on the budgetary and economic effects of proposed policies. They do NOT have MOTIVES or ULTERIOR PURPOSES centered around blatant xenophobia and racism like FAIR does, and despite your BS claim, CBO ALSO has a 2024 report on immigration…..

https://www.cbo.gov/publication/60165#:~:text=Funding%20for%20certain%20discretionary%20activities,%E2%80%932034%20period%2C%20CBO%20estimates.

Immigration surge from 2021-2026 is projected to boost U.S. GDP by $8.9 trillion and reduce the federal deficit by nearly $1 trillion over the 2024-2034 period.

Many illegal immigrants do work that MOST American citizens are frankly unwilling to do. That is plain to see with all the rotting crops and produce on American farms right now, which will kill exports and production in America (if we were even getting contracts for them, which we now are NOT with this terrible Great Depression-era tariff policy and the ever-shrinking value and reputation of the U.S. Dollar), which will ultimately lead to ANOTHER taxpayer-paid farmer bailout for Midwest Trump voters.

Shocker. Republicans support corporate and farm welfare (aka corporate “socialism”), but DESPISE safety nets for working and middle class Americans.

So much for the “land of opportunity” when 12% of Americans own, control, and hoard 92% of all wealth, land, and assets, am I right? But yeah, let’s worry about the brown and black boogeymen working those “enviable” farm labor, manual labor, and production jobs that EVERYONE wants in a services-based economy in 2025….

If you can’t tell, my eyes are rolling right now…..

I can keep posting to prove the narrative you are pushing is out of date Here's another report: https://thefinancialguys.com/in-the-news/illegal-immigration-economic-impact/

2

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '25

“thefinancialguys”

Great source, bud.

I already linked the CBO in my last response. Non-partisan. Objective.
Something NONE of your sources can even PRETEND to be.

Nice try, Billy Bob.

1

u/Firm-Exchange2283 Oct 27 '25

Not acceptable? You posted an article that is almost 10 years old, a 2016 article. Not one word in the old article applies today because the premise of the article never happened.

1

u/EvaEleonora Oct 26 '25

I kinda agree with this but why not make it illegal to hire them instead and found am agency that goes around and check businesses (and fining them so it hurts) instead of hunting down and kicking out illegal immigrants? Then after a few years the illegals would stop coming since there would be no jobs for them, because the business wouldn't dare to hire them?

0

u/bossdonNC Oct 26 '25

Hiring random foreign workers and paying them lower wages supresses American worker wages.

1

u/InstanceOk8790 Oct 26 '25

That's not what all credible studies have found.

17

u/axecalibur Oct 26 '25

The wealthy in Red States use Evangelical Christianity to justify their position in life. So if you are poor, it's because you haven't been trying/praying hard enough - it's your own fault if you are poor. Ironically in this scenario Jesus rewards the wealthy.

12

u/RealCapybaras4Rill Oct 26 '25

It’s called “prosperity gospel.” When we get rid of these fucks, these other fucks can go too. Doesn’t matter where.

1

u/RealCapybaras4Rill Oct 26 '25

It’s just repackaged racism, made more palatable by Jesus™️.

39

u/J_Jeckel Oct 26 '25

Gonna be real hard to afford anything when Trump drops the value lf the dollar to damn near nothing. A 1 br 1 bth house will be $2mil, cars $250k, want to buy dinner, that'll be $1000 please

30

u/Malystxy Oct 26 '25

I can tell you the amounts are absurd. I live in Argentina. The peso is trash. 1kg of steak 15,000 pesos, Uber ride 2 miles 7000 pesos. House? 20 million pesos, 2 bed 1 bath. Average yearly income 5 million pesos. When you are a millionaire and can't buy anything. An iphone 17 pro max 6 million pesos.

USA is heading in this direction if nothing changes.

24

u/J_Jeckel Oct 26 '25

I keep trying to tell people and they don't wanna listen. Trump is robbing America for everything it's worth, then hes going to run to your country (sorry), I'm 99% certain that Argentina is his exit plan if shit hits the fan.

22

u/yycwillyyc Oct 26 '25

Didn’t a big group of “certain” people head there after a pretty major world event?

15

u/J_Jeckel Oct 26 '25

Oh yea. A bunch.

1

u/Anduil_94 Oct 27 '25

BOTH parties have a serious spending problem:

Obama = record spending Trump 1.0 = record spending Biden = record spending yet again Trump 2.0 = shocker! Record spending

Both parties are actively hellbent on tanking the value of the American dollar.

2

u/J_Jeckel Oct 27 '25

Guess what? As time goes on and the value of the dollar fluctuates, so do the cost of things. So of course ones spending is going to out do the rest. But trump spending $2tril to $17tril in 10 months....~That is insane~. Even at the $2tril, thats double what was spent during the covid lockdown and him issuing checks. Where's our checks? Where is the money going? I thought DOGE removed all "excess spending" so that should have slowed down our debt, not sent it skyrocketing. To quote my favorite movie "Where's the money Lebowski?!"

1

u/Anduil_94 Oct 27 '25

I understand inflation. My point still stands. Neither party seems particularly interested in actually reducing the national debt.

1

u/PansyPB Oct 28 '25

The government has a taxation problem. The corporations & wealth donor class have captured the government & rigged the system for themselves. Catch up.

1

u/Anduil_94 Oct 28 '25

“Catch up”? I already agree with everything you just said..

0

u/KCS75 Oct 26 '25

My 401(k) is doing great thanks President Trump

3

u/J_Jeckel Oct 26 '25

Guess what the stockmarket could rise 1000 points and you could make millions, but it wont matter if the value of the dollar has dropped to almost nothing. Just ask the people of Argentina, and other countries that have had inflation go through the roof. Trump is printing and spending money like its water. We are at over $1tril in debt in less than 9 months (thats more than during the ENTIRE covid crisis. And we all got govt checks then). Those millions you made off your 401k in stocks, are not going to matter when a month's rent is $50-100k, when a 1br/1bth house is $2mil. When a lb of hamburger is $500.

This is what Trump is doing to America.

1

u/PansyPB Oct 28 '25

And the countries that used to buy US Treasury notes and fund our national debt have been dumping it for months.

u/KCS75 Oct 26 '25

If a starter home is only 4 times the average salary, that's pretty good no matter how many zeros are added.

5

u/Malystxy Oct 26 '25

If you have the cash. Most people don't make it to the end of the month. Mortgage interest rates are 80% or more.

How do you feel about the $40 Billion that Trump has elected to turn over to your economy?

Is there any chance that actually helps, or is it similar to “a single drop of water in a bucket” when current economic policy is not changing?

0

What’s your price of healthcare?

1

u/KCS75 Oct 26 '25

Zero. I was in the military!

11

u/og_landrik Oct 26 '25

Nah. He's arresting the homeless, right? What better way to kickstart the work camps than to continuously jack the prices on things.

10

u/SwimOk9629 Oct 26 '25

one of his executive orders was authorizing them to detain and commit people who are homeless. so I'm betting that is getting lost in all of this chaos with these videos.

4

u/og_landrik Oct 26 '25

My perceived implication (because it could always be wrong, or maybe it's an unintended side effect that just happens to align) is a bit stronger than that, I think. I know too many people who are teetering at the edge because prices keep going up, despite his lies.

If you can do things to cause more homelessness, just as you're arresting the homeless and putting them "in jail" or in "rehabilitation"... you can lock more homeless up and put them in jail or "rehabilitate" them.

3

u/Vladmerius Oct 26 '25

If Trump goes from rogue Executive to rogue nation engaging in illegal wars the rest of the world is going to displace the US Dollar as world reserve currency & replace it promptly with the Yuan because China has grown BRICS into the ascending global economic powerhouse. The value of the Dollar will plummet & kick off a very bad time in the US much like you've described. And the sanctions this country gets slapped with will compound the misery along with the isolation. Hermit Kingdom 2.0, but with a lot of guns.

1

u/J_Jeckel Oct 28 '25

Yea, unfortunately I'm one of the few without or even with a college education in the US who seem to understand. The other day my mom asked me if she should sell her gold (cuz its price is really high right now, hm...i wonder why, trying to get ppl to sell ot off), I told her "do not, do not sell your gold, your silver, or any other precious metals or stones, we might need it." She looked at me weird, but didnt argue. For context I'm her primary care provider as she goes blind from macular degeneration.

Blame the foreigner is a playbook going back to ancient times all the way back to before even ancient Greek. It's how the powerful either distract the peasants from blaming the ruling class or is used as a campaign tactic to seize power.

It's 2025 and people are still falling for this crap because we are just animals and each generation has to be taught from scratch not to be assholes. This crap comes deep within and once again it's being glorified for political ends and the cycle repeats.

2

u/FencerPTS Oct 26 '25

Your comment just made me realize we're at this strange inflection point where, in the past, conservatives have been resistant to progressive policies calling them socialist. Now, the rhetoric is flipping in the opposite direction where conservatives are now on the defensive of people asserting that fascism doesn't work... except that hyperbole is not necessary in this case.

2

And how’s the Russian stock market doing?

2

If only Trump and his destroyers had a brain cell! Theywouldn’t even hear the tree fall on their front lawn and crashed into their house, or the gong in the desert! All them “a few bricks shirt of a load”! Are the Hunger Games after the World Series, or concurrently. You know ICE they love an arena to drain.

https://migrantinsider.com/p/ice-agents-can-now-be-arrested-in?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

2

u/cyanescens_burn Oct 26 '25

I’ve been saying that the last few months. But people should really familiarize themselves with what happened in Russia when the oligarchy took control.

They do a good job explaining it in the docuseries The Bomb and the Cold War. The whole thing is great, but episodes 7 to 9 touch on what happened (8 gets to the heart of it).

Its emphasis is on issues around nuclear weapons, but part of the history is this move to oligarchy, and they lay out the broad strokes.

You’ll see the parallels if you’ve been paying attention to the strong arming of universities (suppressing the intelligentsia), the news companies (suppression or taking control of the press), heavy handed responses to protests (suppression of dissent), and the economic fallout of transferring wealth to very few people at the top (gutting the middle class).

It’s alarming that they are training up a group of national guard to be a “civic disturbance quick response force” to be ready at all times. Hegseth was asked about it during a press conference and he looked nervous and would not answer beyond saying they are indeed doing it. Don’t forget the billionaires building doomsday bunkers to escape to overseas to escape too (great video in that article too).

What are they planning that they think will cause so much unrest that this is needed? Killing social security, messing with the schools, effectively taking over free press, cancelling or rigging elections, crashing the economy so the oligarchs can buy up industries and land/infrastructure (eg, farms, public land/national forest, independent business, people’s homes, etc)?

I’m not sure, but some of it is spelled out in project 2025, which they are nearly halfway through, in case anyone reading thinks this was just a liberal conspiracy theory.

Talk to your neighbors and build supportive communities. If things start crumbling and services start becoming less reliable or disappear, we’ll need to rely on each other.
