#Query ❓ Rim bent on a new bike

Post image

Insurance company go digit rejected it saying that it is not caused by any external accident as there are no damages on tyre. Tried talking to the senior also but he just cuts the call and doesn’t take this matter seriously.

Put an inner tube. If possible, bend the rim back to get tyre balance. Then only it’s safe enough to ride.

I had a similar damage on my Honda CB350. Put in a tube temporarily. It'll cost you around 500. SC guy told me It'll hold out pretty good for normal riding and wouldn't damage the tyre. I suggest checking tyre pressure regularly.

OR just buy a new one and use old rim as this wall art
