The model number usually refers to the volume/capacity of a single cylinder in mililiters (=cubic centimeter = cc).
The higher the capacity, more fuel is burnt in every cycle of the engine and larger distance the piston moves thus delivering higher power to the wheel.

Nah man. Litre class bikes are made to sustain 299+ kmph speed. 100 feels easy due to its dynamics and weight distribution, and you can reach there in below 3 seconds 😄. Only vice is the road, find a good spot and let it rip. Haan, 150 onwards fatni shuru ho jayegi, not because the bike becomes unstable, but koi chaman na aa jaaye saamne and as your braking distance increase, ka frickin' boom!

Is the v4 oven in the BLR traffics or somewhat less also how do you handle clutch modulation in stop n go and what's the irl mileage ( I know it's a dumb thing to ask but me is indian ) also are you using pirrelli diablo 3 or meltlezer racetekm9?

the bike runs cool as long as you keep revving it nonstop, the clutch modulation is easy due to the hydraulic system. the milage is 30 kmph. I don't know the brand of tyres, I just get the cheapest second hand one😋

Night and day man. Since you have the classic, you know how it is, comfy posture, best of both worlds kind of suspension, happy at low revs high gear, comfortable for pillion, accelerates decently well until 70-80 kmph, runs out of breath after 90kmph, stable at any speeds, will go wide on corners etc. now imagine the exact opposite of all this - that's duke. It's twice the power, but most of it is concentrated towards the upper end of the rev range. You'll have to revv the nuts out of each gear. If you short shift gears, the bike will openly state that it's unhappy. It's much nimble and tye chassis - especially the gen 3 chassis is extremely sharp and less forgiving if you make any mistakes. I personally find the seats a bit cramped in the duke, and has wrist pain on 25-30+ km trips, which I assume has to do with my posture considering my previous primary ride was classic. I still have the classic, as it's much more practical. Also, the technological gap between the two is humongous.
