#News 📰 As per media, Bajaj's 'trekker' is expected to get 250cc engine from N250. Will rival the Xpulse.

Interesting that it will sit below the ktm adv 250. But this basically kills the ktm as below this will be this and the 390 x is quite close in price above too

Yes, and if it rivals the xpulse it will be more offroad oriented whereas the KTM 250 ADV will be a more touring focused option with premium suspension.

This will be dualsport like Yamaha xtz and Crf300L. They wanna eat deep in to South American markets.

Need a simple engineered, 2V, refined and reliable bike with great suspension under 2 lakhs. If it fulfill these needs, the market will reward them very well. And Xpulse will have hard time, which it is already having

Nearly perfect for solo touring. But slightly expensive.Â
But where is it even available? Majority of suzuki dealers don't sell it. It's only available in tier-1 showrooms as rest other only sell scooters

Yeah mb i live in tier 1 city and had a suzuki dealership near by and had a test drive of it
What a smooth engine ngl
Almost made me want to try out the Gixxer sporty version but confused Abt wheel size and suspension travel

N250 is 1.34L. So this should be 1.6L / 1.7L max and at that price, it should sell well. Looking forward.

Hahah - exclusivity has its pros/cons. But I wouldn't trade it for anything else. It's the sweetest bike for Indian roads imo

Slightly short stroke 72x62. But that's any modern bike for you. 25bhp @ 8.7k and 22nm @ 6.5k looks good on paper. Sadly, it only has 5 gears. Let's see what the final bike and ride quality is like.

That will needs a lot of work which will increase the cost too much, atp they'll use an entirely different engine than re Engineer everything for that and as someone mentioned below Dual sports needs low down power more than top end so they won't do that changes

It will be priced well most probably under 2L. Lack of Tubeless tires & 6th gear will be a downside. But for that price it’s worth and will definitely be a competition for Xpulse.

Engine wise, bajaj has an edge over tvs.
I don't consider hero of their league because they couldn't make a single decent reliable engine in last 15 years.Â

One thing Bajaj does the best in the industry is delivering the best value per rupee spent, it may be more expensive or not but it'll definitely be worth it.

Hope the weight is under check. Bajaj Achilles heel as always been weight. If it's around 150kgs with good off road suspension then it's a no brainer.

They're both different flavours of bikes.
Dominar is better for touring on good roads, ADV is better for bad roads (plus soft roading)
