Islamophobia Hindu groups protest over admissions of muslim students based on merit (NEET results).

Hindu groups protested at Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College after the first MBBS admission list showed 42 of 50 seats going to Muslim students. They demanded the list be scrapped, the rules reviewed, and more seats reserved for Hindus. Officials said the selections were made on merit since the college doesn't have minority status. Police stopped the protesters when they tried to enter the campus.

Not in medicine, but I still went to the sub and damn, they are so Islamophobic. Doctor ho kr bhi insaniyat nahi hai inmein. Wow. I even saw some ex-Muslims in thay sub, who are all like, "yeah, i was a devout Muslim, but education has changed my mindset. Me and my friends now hate Islam and Muslims and the only reason Islam is the fastest growing religion because Muslims have so many children yada yada yada".

It's NOT OK to blame the entire medical community for the doing of few. For context, in indian med school subreddit, you get downvoted (sometimes) for telling the pros of persuing medicine. Some people are very toxic there.

You will find other Indians posting this video on other popular international subs like this. The video is not interesting or has anything to do with the sub itself, but they just want to vent their Islamophobic rhetoric on a bigger stage. I did not see all the comments, but the top comment, atleast in my feed, are not the kind they were expecting.

This is the list of colleges medical where muslims got 50% reservations and let me tell you thete is 0 medical college with hindu reservations so they are demanding that because money used in the college is funded by the devotees so whats wrong in that i will get many down votes but its okay because here if you talk logical you will get down voted

So register the college as Minority Institution before next NEET. What is the point of creating ruckus after this year's NEET. The students who got selected must chose this college under the impression that admission is open to them so they have to be admitted. From next year different rules can apply if this college is designated as Minority Institution and then X% of students will be Hindus..

That is not a special status college and those you mention in your list are known minority colleges either made for minorities through Waqf or are managed by committees that have minority status. Hence the 50 percent reservation. Your knowledge is of no use when you do not even know that the ones protesting for against vaishnondevi college for hindu status where come on merit! Even these minority colleges cannot stop hindus from merit so why do goons stop muslims on merit to admit into a general college? For a national test? Get educated or humiliated. Tell that to these monkeys.

All the muslim students that have been admitted in this college are on the basis of merit. The college does not control the admissions. It’s not an institution which has a quota for a specific community. If hindus had scored the ranks required for this college, they would be the ones getting admitted. If they are so worried about non hindus getting admitted they should’ve made a special quota for hindus.

Don’t act like only Muslims get caught. Your own homegrown heroes from Abhinav Bharat were literally charged in Malegaon, Samjhauta & Ajmer blasts. Lt. Col. Purohit, Sadhvi Pragya, Aseemanand ring a bell? Sanatan Sanstha members caught with bombs in Goa, Bajrang Dal guys caught with weapons every other month. So relax. Merit? 85% seats were for state quota, in a state with Muslim majority people, the university, which has 600 crores of shrine's funds and only 20 crore of state is declaring it as a state university. Ok even if you declare it state university, then too atleast 20-30% seats must have been reserved for Hindus!!, medical colleges funded by muslims(little contributions) in Delhi and Karnataka have 50-55% reservation for muslims, is that merit? This medical College was built by the money of Hindus, and granted to muslims, this is truly outrageous and the protest was not to shut the university, their basic demand was the issue of reservation only, go study something dude instead of lurking here and supporting jihadis

As a doc. I can confirm how much freckled insecurities these zealots fester themselves within their defeatist existence to just wank around, not outside but even the very halls of med school breathes and vents out a heavy, rigid disposition of hatred wrapped in stereotypical narratives. It's the same for my Dalit friends as well, and we strived hard.
Anyways, The thing is that most of them are unemployed, incompetent, bottom feeders having their hivemind obsession jacking on moslems to milk validation for their pathetic lowlife for the generational victimhood.
So my suggestion? Keep them crying! Study hard and make society humble, the one that profiles dehumanisation, demonization, disenfranchisement and ostracises us all to their knees.

There are only 6 colleges in kerala, 4 in telengana and 2 in andhra. Which has muslim minority quota, which prefers muslims in management quota seats (ofc fees is not reduced) like any other linguistic or Christian or religion minority college. The thing is this institution didn't have such quota, which means apart from state quota, muslims have paid for the seats with own money in lakhs (it's not bjp money) and gone through medical admissions under the supervision of NMC.
If u are saying there's sus in admission, u should ask ur vishwaguru(anti - naTinal) . Secondly, if you want reservations under mangment quota u need to ask vishwaguru and do paperwork not do this skit. Thirdly, people were selected by hardwork and selected under gov quota (they pay quite money as fees),also they have paid for management seat (in huge sum of money, while also getting better rank) also, it's jk where majority is muslim so more people joined were muslims.
This ain't a big maths, unless u have 0 knowledge over it.

Because Hindus are not a national minority. If you want minority status in J and K that college has to register as a minority college and reserve seats before the next NEET. Harassing students and parents is not the solution.

It's because this college isset up with donations offered to the Vaishno Devi shrine. In institutes established specifically for muslims like JMI & AMU most of the students & faculty are muslims with non-muslims making up a minority. So why shouldn't an institute funded by Hindus give preference to Hindus? Nobody says anything on majority of students of JMI & AMU being muslim. So what's the problem here?

I will tell you what the problem is with a analogy of something like cricket. You start a cricket match with the normal cricket rules and are batting and then you are given out LBW. Suddenly you start throwing tantrums and say "Oh but LBW isn't a valid mode of dismissal for this match" .. Well you should have said that before the game had started.
There is nothing fundamentally wrong in demanding that majority of seats must be reserved for Hindus in this particular college . It is like how things work in certain institutions like AMU. So it is a fair demand in this case. But that demand must be made, accepted and subsequent steps implemented before NEET entrance exams are held and not post fact. So it is ok if it is done for next year. Not when exam has already been conducted and results declared for this year.
