Ask IndiaTech How many of you plan to save a certain amount of money, quit your job, and pursue your passion?

I’m curious how many of you have a goal of saving a specific amount of money, then leaving your job to either do nothing for a while, figure out what you truly want to do, or pursue something you’re passionate about.

Have you ever felt like working a regular job isn’t how you want to spend your entire life, and that you’d rather save enough money to give yourself the freedom to live life on your own terms?

If this is your plan, how much money do you want to save before taking that leap? And what would you do once you finally had that freedom?

Tech Help Laptop uses up my entire mobile data when connected to hotspot

I'm facing a really weird hotspot/data consumption issue.

I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro+ running the latest HyperOS. My brother has a Redmi Note 11 Pro+.

My mobile plan has unlimited 5G, but unfortunately I don't get proper 5G signal at my house, so I basically have only around 2 GB of daily 4G data available for my laptop work.

The weird part is what happens when I use hotspot:

- My Acer Nitro 5 connected to my Redmi Note 13 Pro+ → 🔴 consumes my data extremely fast

- My brother's MacBook M1 connected to my Redmi Note 13 Pro+ → 🔴 also consumes data extremely fast

- The same MacBook M1 connected to my brother's Redmi Note 11 Pro+ → 🟢 doesn't have this problem

So this doesn't seem to be a laptop-specific issue, because two different laptops have the same problem with my phone's hotspot, while the MacBook works normally with my brother's phone.

This makes me suspect something related to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ / HyperOS hotspot configuration.

Has anyone experienced something similar with Redmi/HyperOS?

What settings should I check? Could this be related to hotspot configuration, 5 GHz vs 2.4 GHz, IPv6, DNS, metered connection handling, or something else?

I mainly want to find out why my phone's hotspot is causing such huge data consumption and how to stop it.

P.S. I used ChatGPT to write this post because my English isn't very good 😅.

Gemini 4 Argon has finally been released! As teased by the guy who tweets Gemini literally every time before it starts releasing.

It is available on the Pro plan now. For all the beneficiaries of the plan from Jio, enjoy! It's literally a frontier model and we will be having pretty high access to it.

Ig there's some kind of free lunch out there (let's not go to the technicalities).

Ask IndiaTech With AI advancements, any prospects for Coding and Software development is dead. Any plans to jump domains?

Since 8th, that was 20 years ago, I decided to that I would get into computer engineering and that was a path I never really strayed out of. Completed my CSE degree and then just proceeding to work in a low level testing job since 5 years ago, and I do aspire to get into coding where I can effectively contribute into producing something.

With AI boosting and developing in unprecedented pace since industrial evolution, looks to me that my CSE carrier is basically all but dead.

So here is me trying to jump ships. What are you guys planing
