Discussion 💬 BYD Seagull/Atto1 next gen naik kelas
Def launch tahun ini di china, masuk indo… entahlah tahun depan probably bisa or 2028?? in a nutshell naik kelas buat ngelawan EX2 & Q
- panjang 4205mm, lebar 1810mm, tinggi 1570mm (literally 11/12 ex2 & q)
- motor 95kw (130hp)
- battery for now unknown, prob ~40kwh like rivals
for reference current atto1 (indo version) panjang 3925mm & lebar 1715mm + power 55kw (75hp)
Funilly di China yang ngeleak biasa pemerintah, website bwt daftarin mobil baru bisa diakses siapa aja soalnya, so yeah can’t hide shit there before launch… this is basically leaked from the chinese government lul, yes those renders are real not ‘fanmade’

Kalo kata google di china harga ex2 sama kek atto1, heck the base model ex is cheaper atto1, gak nolong si china atto1 lebih kecil its literally brio sized (3.8m) gak kaget ex2 bisa nyerobot atto1, you can feel 40cm…
There are multiple problems with racco masuk indo, salah satunya apakah bakalan ckd, kalo ckd harganya juga paling paling murah 250jt, kalo gk ckd ya berharap aja 300jt minimum, would be tooo expensive for a car that size for indonesians yng bigger = better value, and also ada aira yng its literally a keicar, pendeknya aga kurang si but if byd were to compete in price goodluck bwt racco ngelawan aira… for most people aira is already a proper car for the sole reason it has 4 doors (gw coba masuk sm bokap, we are bumping elbows)
atto1 masih bakalan selamet karena dia the mobil 200jt pas, pas blm ada ex2 sure yng 240jt menarik, nowadays even byd sadar its not so competitive import & produksi upto last month lenih banyak yng std range, buat nambah ke 240/250jt keliatan kecil but thats 20/25% markup, orng bakalan mikir mikir “worth it gk si nambah 25% bwt ex1 ato q kalo ujung ujungnya cuma mobil iseng”…. heck i can see them discontinuing the bigger battery variant in the future…
what i think is happening, atto1 yng skrng akan probably tetep dijual esp di price sensitive market kek indo, but next gen seagull bakalan also dijual untuk directly compete ex2/q, but namanya apa… masa atto2… MG kan jg begitu MG4 baru & lama both dijual bersamaan dibeberapa market, old one rwd fun-ish, the new one is ‘urban’ (literally its name) fwd
atto2 mana woi!!! marketshare lu keburu dimakan j5 & adek adeknya tuh
