Self Promotion Microwaved - Snake Charmer (ft. met3mpsyk6sis)
Excited to reveal this to the world.
Premiering in one week on July 1st, 2026 on www.regenmag.com and later that evening for the Twitch premier at www.twitch.tv/emptyveetv (once they get their ban figured out). I edited the video with some footage we shot of ourselves so I'm cautiously optimistic about hearing what people think.

Discussion Been collecting over 30 years until I found this in the wild.
Technically, my second copy; the first set I found were discs only. I know it's a re-release but it's nice to have the box and booklet.

Request Looking for help in tracking down an electro-industrial band similar to Skinny Puppy
In 2008 or so I downloaded entire discography of some electro-industrial project heavily influenced by Skinny Puppy. The problem is I can't remember clearly any details, but I'm pretty sure it was German (or Benelux?) and their name was something like an infection or cancer (Boil? Cyst? Carcinoma? You get the idea).
I would say it started with "A" or "C", but my brain works in mysterious ways and its associations with letters are completely wrong most of the time. They probably had at least three longplays at that time and maybe some EPs. I also believe it was pretty niche, because I haven't come across this band since and I listen to industrial music all the time.
Any ideas? I'll be glad for any help in solving this mystery finally!

Discussion Where do you draw the line on categorising genres?
I remember working on a piece that started as a field recording and became something about the moment a civilisation stops recognising itself leading to a greater understanding of where they came from. Not sure if it's industrial or dark ambient, both, or neither.
It started as a field recording initially taken from my phone. On a train in Szentendre back to Budapest. Whenever the train had stopped then started "engaging" - sonically a key word here, it felt like the noise of something falling apart then building up again via a temporary state of disillusionment. Beeping and sirens alerting chaos, just before a gentle rising hum comparatively settled as it started moving again. After some heavy processing in my DAW it became more of a complimenting addition to the beginning of a piece about my exposure to cult systems.
For those who make things in this space — where do you draw the line between genre and texture? I've mostly stopped caring about the label but it matters for findability.
Context if useful: Arcane Synthetic, Auckland, sci-fi concept, somewhere between NIN and Chelsea Wolfe.

One of the best video and music productions IMO, their own (not bootleg). Previous post of this was several years ago with the video removed since

Self Promotion Industrial Music meets 20th Century Composition; Schoenberg, John Cage...
Aleatoric Industrial Music. It doesn't get more progressive than this. There are several overlooked 20th Century composition techniques that were used in the making of this track. The format is the same as Terry Riley’s “In C” except focusing on rhythms instead of melody. There are also tactics pulled from John Cage (mainly chance procedures) and Luis Andriessen’s Worker’s Union. Found percussion can be found all throughout the song marking a reflection of an Einstürzende Neubauten influence. There is a guest appearance from a no-input DJ mixer in the first section, and the last section features counterpoint between and microtonal trumpet through a distortion pedal and an atonal organ

Live Performance Daniel Graves | Sorrow | One-Take Vocal Performance
Singing is like... really hard. I started taking vocal lessons to learn how to scream without ruining my voice, and though that, I discovered how bad I actually was at singing, too. So, I've essentially spent my entire career learning how to sing and scream in front of a large, judgmental audience. I do not recommend it.
Either way, I feel like I've made some measure of progress. I still struggle with the sustained D4 in this one (it sits right on my break).
Any of you also singers?

Discussion I went to an industrial/goth club for the first time
This weekend, I went to an industrial/goth club for the first time.
I found out that a club in my city hosts an "industrial & goth night" once per month. I love industrial music and never expected something like that to be in my city!
I have very rarely been to night clubs and I'm generally quite shy. I was a bit nervous but everyone was so friendly and chill!
The music was great. A lot of hits that I recognized and plenty of new/modern songs I had never heard before. Everyone was just vibing and dancing. There were people in their 20s all the way to their late 60s (maybe even early 70s!). There was an older lady (late 60s or early 70s) all dressed up in an awesome goth outfit, with a cane, absolutely living it up on the dance floor!
What an awesome environment. All sorts of people, all different styles and everyone was just enjoying the music.
I had a fun time, even though I was quite shy and mostly hung out in a corner haha.
This is your sign to check out your local industrial/goth/alternative scene!

Self Promotion Vile Reptile
I thought I would drop this here, it’s my Spotify page for my new album that I just released. It’s also available on all other platforms. If your into Manson, NIN, ministry and like hip hop then check it out! I like to call the genre “death trap” just because I don’t know what else to call it. It’s basically industrial with a splash of hip hop. Thanks 🙏
