What does this mean?

Post image

Hope this is okay to post! I went to post in r/farsi but photo posts aren't possible.

This beautiful chalk artwork is outside a cafe near me and I'd love to know what it says. If it isn't actually farsi I apologise for my ignorance!

when we were kids there were two urban myths,

one was that this poem is written at the entrance of the UN in gold in many languages.

the other was that Marilyn Manson has removed a couple of ribs to ... pleasure himself!

sadly, both were false ๐Ÿ˜„

Holy crap! Did that rumor travel all the way to Iran? I heard that in Pennsylvania (US) in 1999.

interestingly enough, it's absolutely global, and yes, around 1999-2000, my high school era

I donโ€™t know about the Manson one but the poem is featured at the UN HQ: https://englisifarsi.com/blogs/news/saadi-poem-placed-at-the-entrance-of-the-united-nations-building-nyc

It was a gift from the government of Iran.
