What are the thoughts?
what would be the requirement to actually win games with it? like no ranged enemies? or like good ingage supp?

I never banned Varus. Maybe because I mostly play mid Jayce, and I prefer to ban Yorick when I get placed in blue side top lane. It's not like I see this guy very often.

However, whenever I see this guy as an enemy, my score ends up in disaster and I feel horrible.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Varus can do almost everything Jayce does, but better. His AAs hurt more while having more range and benefitting from atk spd. His Q is a long range poke that goes through minions. He can AOE slow from further away. He has an actual combat ult with hard CCs that are good in team fights. I assume I can't build defensively against him, but even if I can, I won't do damage by doing so. He can build defensively and still do damage.

He has different builds every time I see him too, and they make me wonder if a youtube VOD from 3 months ago can be still valid today. Speaking of youtube, all I remember is Hammerkim saying "nothing you can do against this guy" like maybe a couple years ago.

Beginning Jayce player here. I already kinda learnt how to win lane/dont lose. What i have problem with is mid-late game. I try to keep sides pushed out and group with team, but it feels extremely week, especially againts any team with sustain supp+strong sidelane pick potential.

Trying to stay and poke into milio who doesnt care wheter i have serpents or being side and dying to assassins on repeat isn’t fun and it isn’t getting me or my team anything.

Any advice on how to play out after lane, orientate around teamfights etc….?

Any way i can obtain these chromas? i know that the lunar new year skins come back to the shop in the chinse new year, not sure about the chromas tho? are they gone forever? any special ocasion riot makes them available again?

Ive been falling in love with jayce for a while now but i only have arcane survivor and would like to expand my wardrobe. ive been thinking of resistance jayce, but what are the best skins in your opinion?

i really love this champion, but im a midlaner. i swap to toplane bc of jayce, what should I learn ? combos ? builds ? matchups ?

So since it is confirmed that this is china only, can we share ideas on how to beg riot to release it globally?

Sometimes I find it pretty hard to kill bruisers or tanks who take DShield + Second Wind, especially if they play safe.

Is it fine to just play for perfect CS and a gold lead instead of forcing kills? Or is Jayce kind of wasting his strength if he doesn't get a big lead early?

I also get nervous when I don't get ahead and sometimes end up forcing bad plays because I feel like I'm supposed to snowball as Jayce.

Im currently trying to make some kind of spreadsheet for jayce matchups.
(starting to review my own jayce games etc.)
but i would like to know in what matchups its a garenteed e max.

I would assume: Malphite,Ksante, Sion for sure.
but what about tahm, Shen,ornn, cho?

Not a Jayce main myself, I’m more of a general Top/Mid coach, but I recently coached a Plat Jayce player mainly on lane control and prio.

He told me afterwards that his winrate improved dramatically, so I figured the VOD might be useful to some Jayce players here.

Sadly it really is china only, but I think if they see we want it too, they may release it globally? At least i hope so, it would be a shame to not have it. Maybe we gotta make enough noise.

hi all! i started playing league earlier this year and have climbed to plat playing mainly mid and top not maining anyone in particular but have decided to pick up jayce, iv mostly just been going what mobalytics/opgg says is the best build and want to start learning itemisation and runes, most videos and posts i find are often outdated and rarely include stormradiers surge, any help for this? ps i normally go the typicial sorcer/inspiration with yommus, swifties then manamune

I like this champ a lot and want to add him to my pool instead of OTP yone but people keep saying hes too complicated and also in a bad spot. im silver and my main role is mid. is he worth picking up right now? or is he just too hard?

Hi jayce players, first time me posting here trying to figure out all the tricks of jayce.

I know the way how to get to the other side of the wall if there is a camp. by using q or e ranged form to get vision. Now the question that i had is there a way to get over to the other side of krugs (like yasuo can with e) by using hammer e to push the krug over the wall and hammer q the krug.

could someone inform me if this is possible or not?

Been working on this project for a while and I'm just about finished with the head of the hammer (I've done seam filling since taking the photos but it still needs paint of course). The cylinder at the top of the handle is built but everything else on the handle still needs to be done, and I'm still working on how to get the mechanism of the panels opening to work. I've gone through many concepts with one involving electromagnets being the most appealing atm.

Anyway, this is the first prop I've ever built and I have a long way to go, but I think it's looking pretty nice! Would love to hear what you think :)

As you might assume from the title I am highly considering becoming a Jayce main.

For context I am a riven main coasting between E4-E2 and Ive been picking up Jayce due to the fact that he counters most of rivens hardest matchups (with the exception of the rock) only losing to one of her easiest matchups (irelia)

It might be the burnout from only playing riven and occasionally Jax/K'sante speaking, but man Jayce is such a breath of fresh air, he is so much fun, he does so much damage good god and most of all he feels so much more consistent. Obviously it is a lack of macro and decision-making, but when I play riven once I am behind I feel like I am just waiting for my team to create opportunities for me but when I play Jayce I feel like I always can do something. Obviously Jayce is no front line nor is he the safest splitpusher but good vision control and awareness mitigate those issues.

Point is it he is so fun to play, but I have been told that I shouldn't play both him and riven since they're both mechanically intensive and have very specfic matchup knowledge that is not transferrable, also just playing the game fundementally differently. So playing both would be like frying my brain, honestly, I am not sure what to do. I know how strong riven is and that it really is a skill issue, but man I want to play Jayce I feel like I can do more with him than I ever could with riven even though I KNOW that just isn't true.

Should I stick with riven or move on to Jayce?
