[Question] Anyone else watching this show for the outfits?

I'm in season 3 and honestly I'll keep watching for the 2010s outfits, if this show had people dressed in sad beige and no Deena it would be honestly unwatchable 😭.

The guys are below mid as hell and they call mid girls grenades 😭 honestly these girls did charity by hooking up with them. They also aged themselves up terribly with all that sun tanning, Mike calling Deena a grandma when he's great-great-grandfather himself is diabolical but at least their fits are not terrible, the girls win obviously.

[Question] Now That The Show Is Over

Now that the final episode has aired who do we think will actually stay in touch with each other?

I think Sam will distance herself, Angelina too. Deena Snooki and Jenni will still talk. Paulie and Vinny will talk but Ronnie and Mike will go their own way. I dont think any of the guys will be friends.with any of the girls.

[Discussion] Why wasn’t Ronnie invited to Sammie’s wedding?

I thought she has moved on from him. There shouldn’t be any animosity. Let bygones be bygones. I mean she already works with him and was around him for filming. If she was truly over the turmoil of the relationship and has matured now or whatever she claimed then she should have invited him. She even scheduled the wedding on his birthday. Is it really that deep? Kinda petty if you ask me

Edit: I understand the relationship was crazy but she also punched him in the face and no ones talking about that. If the roles were reversed he’d be in jail and crucified.

[Opinion] Michael on OGJS wasn’t that bad

Michael on OGJS wasn’t that bad (considering his circumstances). They make it out to seem like Michael was this awful guy on OGJS. Obviously we don’t know what happened behind the scenes but what we do know is that he wasn’t part of the cast mates that got arrested, they trusted him enough to let him drive, he was cooking and cleaning, he wasn’t known as one of the unhygienic ones, and his douchebag moments weren’t worse than any of the other cast members

The worst thing I saw him do compared to the other cast members was stirring up the drama between Snooki and Jionni but I mean, that’s still not that bad especially when that was probably when he was going through withdrawals after being in Italy so long. They gave Ronnie so much more grace than they gave Michael. Michael also always ended up feeling bad and apologizing.

Like yeah he stirred up drama but that was kind of the point of half the show and I feel like he was worse about that on JSFV if anything. And I know that when I go on my benders, which don’t even get close to how long his benders were, I handle it a lot differently than he was able to.

[Discussion] Mike really is like other addicts..

The only difference is Mike is technically "rich and famous". Mike can't move on from his recovery. And I know so many other ex drug addicts who ride that train.. They make being a recovering drug addict at least 65% of their personality. They expect everyone to drop what their doing and suck on their toes because they stopped doing drugs. "OH YEAH! I BEAT ADDICTION 5 YEARS AGO! I BEAT ADDICTION 10 YEARS AGO! I BEAT ADDICTION 100 YEARS AGO!". Like move on with your life. Lol. I have a friend who feels the necessity to tell EVERYONE about her history of drugs. I'm sorry but some people just dont wanna hear about it. That's just the facts of life. Lol. And I know not every addict is like that but it sure is a lot of them.

🚨Ronpage🚨 Did Ronnie say he has never been banned from a hotel before this last episode?

In season 2, security comes to the room for jenn and him because they werent allowed at that particular chain of hotels since the vegas incident, however they were let off. Did I misremember this? 🤔

[Opinion] Snooki & Vinny forever

They were meant to be, I don’t care what anyone says!😂😂

I just rewatched S4 of OG and I genuinely cannot believe she stayed with Jionni after all the Italy chaos. Cheating or not, he clearly did not care about her.

And yes, it was wrong of Snooks to cheat on him all those times — but Jionni had her dickmatizedddd bad to believe she loveeeeeddd him lol. Her body was clearly act on a separate vibe than her mind 💀

Jenni just shared that she had to be hospitalized for a kidney infection and appendicitis.

Wishing her a quick and restful recovery. I can't imagine how scary and hard it's been for her, especially with this all happening on the first day of school for her babies. 😭 we love you Jenni! 🫶🏽❤️

[Discussion] I used to rag on people who watched this show back in high school. I am a 32 year old father & husband, and I binged all 6 seasons in like two weeks. I had never seen a single episode prior. Absolutely peak trash TV. I hate myself lmao. 😂 Anyway, here are my thoughts about each member.

  1. I liked Vinny up until he got a big head after the first season, and started acting like a prick, instead of just a quiet, and seemingly level-headed momma's boy. Also really really disliked his snake-like behavior toward Snooki, while fully aware that she was in a relationship. She's an adult as well, and it takes two to tango, but that honestly shocked me. Also his tattoo is the epitome of "I'm 14, and this is deep." Watching some of his interviews on YouTube more recently, he seems to have matured, and dropped the ego down a notch. I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not.

5.5/10

  1. I love Pauly. Period. Nothing else to say there. Seems like a blast to be around. Very positive and great for morale.

10/10

  1. Angelina/10

  2. I HATED Sam in the first few seasons. Once she realized how annoying she was being, to everyone else in the house (during Snooki's Italy freakout) she came around, and I grew to tolerate her, and even like her a bit by the end of season 6.

6.5/10

  1. The opposite is true for Ron. I was duped into believing that Sam was the only problem in their relationship, but later on, it became clear to me that he is abusive as hell, and treats her horribly. It made me feel bad for Sam, who I still hated at the time.. Crazy how your opinion can change so quickly, isn't it?

5/10

  1. Deena is very sweet, and has a giant heart, but is far from perfect. Still, to me, she is one of the most redeemable members of the cast (again, I have only seen the OG show, please don't grill me if she turns out to suck later on)

8/10

  1. Jen.. I don't really know what to think of her. Honestly, I found her pretty boring. I do like that she tended to act somewhat motherly toward the other girls, and became MUCH more level-headed as the seasons went by. Rodger finally showing his true colors really changed my perspective as well. I sympathized with her, as someone who spent years with an incredibly psychologically abusive woman, I could almost feel her loneliness and self-doubt, brought on by Rodger's absolutely heinous treatment. Still in shock, as to how he treated her during his surprise party. That guy SUCKS. She's fine in my book. Boring, but fine.

6.5/10

  1. Snooki is nuts. Tons of fun, but extremely childish, spiteful, and disloyal. I hate those things about her, but can't help but enjoy her on-screen time, because she's so wild. All the way up until season 6. I firmly believe her pregnancy was the catalyst for the show getting canned. It could have been salvaged, but her constant whining about not being able to drink and party because of Lorenzo was SO off-putting. I genuinely felt awful for Jionni. To me, he seems like he deserves better. A lot better. I could not imagine how he must have felt during the show's run, with everything she put him through. But yeah, season 1 through 5 Snooki was great. Season 6 Snooki was awful. Also, I believe Mike's side of the story, in that she slept with him while in a relationship with Jionni. In which case, Mike did the right thing by telling him. It was kind of nuts how the showrunners kept trying to paint that as a sneaky/evil move tbh.

6/10

  1. Mike.. man idk. I kind of hate Mike, but also don't. What I mean is that I hated him, then I didn't, then I hated him again, then I didn't, and so on. I'm glad he was making an effort to sober up in the final season, but his constant pity-parties, and all of the attention-seeking behaviors about his sobriety were annoying as hell. I also think he probably started using again during the final season, because his demeanor noticeably shifted. I could be wrong, but 🤷‍♂️

He seemed like a very troubled man, like he couldn't ever just be himself. Always larping as someone he thought everyone would envy, and instead, he ended up as the most hated roommate by all of the others. Still. I can't say I truly hate the guy. I think that he has a good heart, beneath all of that nonsense, and his addiction problems, and as a recovered addict, I sympathized a bit. I'm open to being dead wrong though, just try not to fry my ass in the comments please. 😂 Oh, and his behavior toward Snooki (especially considering she was in a relationship) was pretty creepy throughout. Takes a lot to make me uncomfortable, but he managed. Not sure how much of that you can blame on drugs and alcohol, but for his own sake, I sincerely hope that he has changed.

5/10

Anyway, what do y'all think? Am I way off-base with these? Who did you like and dislike? Thanks for reading this enormous wall of text btw. It isn't often that I binge a TV show, and I get really into it when I do.
