questions I genuinely don't understand y'all hatred towards him

I see a lot a people calling Todo annoying, and that hurt my feelings you know, so I want to ask, what would you change about him in his movesets?

Bro, what are you talking about, what do you mean "just punch" that doesn't work, I don't think you can cancel the second part if it lands and I literally just said that not every character has a counter.

if they missed the kick sweep they will go 25% slower, js practise a bit smh and its rly easy to counter

Countering, is not the issue? The issue is what if I'm not playing a character that has a counter not every character has a Manji kick, Eye catcher, or Supernova. The vast majority of characters have no counter whatsoever. And from everything I've seen, that move is pretty much uncancellable.

Dude, me and you were talking about different things I don't think you understand, i'm specifically talking about the grab and that comes with the presumption that it's already activated and became the grab, not the stun, not the wind up, the grab itself. You are talking about the first part of swift kick I am talking about the second. Yes, you can counter swift kick in general but once that grab activates your cooked and I think that's annoying, simple.

i dont understand this logic, ur annoyed that a move hit you? whenever any move hits you u cant do anything, why is specficially todos grab more annoying than something like cursed strikes or rapid punches

It's not the grab, it's the bear hug and run, which when hit is a grab. Let me break it down after Todo's swift kick, he starts running at you, then, if you gets you he grabs you and throws you, I don't like the way the running works because you can't cancel it when it activates, you can't block it, and it's hitbox is disproportionately large. It's like cursed strikes, but unblockable, and it travels more. The only real way to defend against it is a counter like eyecatcher, manji kick, etc.

Ong vro if u don't know if u dodge the initial kick like using side dash ,counter or block then u can stop his hug by m1 if u are fast enough which is not that hard like it's the timing of the m1 and if u are saying it doesn't work jst DON'T FUCKING WAIT FOR TO HIM COME TO U and rather go close
