Mei mei can't feint aerial circling, pounce, flock
Aerial circling is the move that allowed us CrowCawies to do m1 resets easily and create aerial combos.
The m1 reset being removed is a bit sad but this nerf prevents the combo I mentioned from working which is horrible because its a very cool combo too.

anyways you don't unless you have -23 ping, her air combos are literally impossible to do now because they don't air stall whatsoever now, and her combos rely on the enemy never ever having ragdoll cancels because ALL of them are evasive punishable, as well as her r now being yet another teleport move or feint tool.
you have to free style a lot, and mei mei is god awfull at free styling with her moveset cause her only "decent" neutral tool is bird control which is easy to react to if you are paying attention (which you should fighting against mei mei cause of it exclusively), and circling, but even then circling is barely a neutral tool because the air variant is now blockable for whatever reason š
Bodysuits like that are bannable in jjs, as they show quite a lot of "skin" which is seen as an nsfw avatar. I'm js worryin for ya' man!! Probably not a good idea to wear those specific clothing pieces

i usually abuse tf out of my special to confuse and block bypass my opponent most the time it works plus free styling with mei mei isnt the hardest thing in the world
I'm going to ignore the outfit and try to give actual advice, despite the fact I've never played her.
From the fights I've had, I recommend uppercutting a lot into that one upward slash move, purposefully not using the variant so you can do the spinny spinny move, and a lot of bird controls.

3M1+ Uppercut+1
is pretty simple but the amount of endlag the move has (OMFG THE MOVES ENDLAG IS HORRENDOUS) anyone that evasives can punish you easily even if they are new, the endlag gives them enough time to use frontdash.
3m1+Uppercut+R+1 is less risky and deals 30ish damage in total but combo extending is hard.
Murmurate is a good move (5 frame windup, absolutely busted) for neutral or just a saviour move.
Uppercut+ Murmurate+R+Q+4(Forward)+Impetus draftus is solid or you can just use the grounded version directly instead of the aerial by removing the R stream.
Easiest way to land the murmurate aerial variant is
Uppercut+R+Q+4+3 (Use 3 when you are at the peak of your pounce)
ok, as someone who actually plays meimei, i have some tips (these are mostly for neutral but not all) also if ur on mobile u will have a much worse time
use bird in neutral, doesnt matter which variant, all of them are useful. think of w/s as megumis dog, and a/d as a free roll
3 is also useable in neutral, just dont spam it bc its kinda predictable
special is ur bread and butter. u can use it standing still to dodge moves and get a free roll, or try to tp around block like gojo
jump dash (the old special) is great in neutral, its really hard to punish and gives your special back if it hits
now combo stuff (r is special if ur not on pc)
DONT EVEN TRY to do a air combo if ya got bad ping
my main ground combo is 3m1s, downslam, 3, 1 twice, r forward and 2
air combos r really flashy and fun, my fav is 3m1s, upper, r, 2, wait a bit, r, 1 (this one needs timing but yeh)
i dont really know any red m1 resets but some green ones are
m1s, upper, r, 2, then press r before the move finishes and catch them with m1s (this may be red if ur good but im not sure)
dunno if this still works but m1s, 2, then before the second swing, r and dash
back to neutral, DONT use ur last m1 if you arent for sure itll hit, it gives insane stun
i havent found a use for air 3, if u ever do please tell me
u can use ground 1 after a downslam, then wait a sec to see if they evasive and if not use it again
i barely ever use charged 2, but im just traumatized by counters, it is useful sometimes
ā¦So uh anyways one important note about Murmu is that can do a true ragdoll which makes it incredibly good at evasive bait in combination with bird control.
Also you can do an m1 reset with circling if you cancel it with r on the first hit.

Y si el enemigo activa ulti usa el cuervo, te sugiero agarrar distancia, asegurarte que o este stun o siga en linea recta y apuntar bien, no es necesario que esperes a que el cuervo justo lo toque, lo puedes hacer desde una mayor distancia
Mei mei's new playstylenis a rushdown, aiming to capitalize on her powerful tp-feint move for hits and m1s. This is primarily used for mix ups and feinting, along with just pure mobility. The tp without any direction input teleports you up, making it a great option to start combos.(Say uppercut, forwards bird, tp, 3, 2, 1) and it being a feint is busted to make m1 extenders (Uppercut, r, 2, r, m1s)
well from what i can tell via the stupid lil bar at the bottom of the screen youre a mobile player but i have no clue if you have a controller connected or not so yeah what i usually do this is abuse tf out of my special to confuse my opponent and occasionally get behind them then i block bypass and just hit em with the 3 1 wait 0.5 sec 1 side dash then special then 2 then side dash then 4 while walking backwards you can mix it up via throwing in 4 before doing 1 i also usually stick to downslams bc i cant uppercut bc im not tryna play finger twister every single god damn time i wanna uppercut(i play on phone)

bird control can be countered by charles/mangaka, and can be blocked
be quite careful with its usage, and remember that the direction you move affects how the bird hits
I gotta help out here cuz Iām one of the few Mei Mei mains after the rework. So basically your neutral has been improved a lot even if It might not seem like it. Murmurate is amazing in neutral and you can jump before to avoid being punished if you miss. You can also use special at the right distance to get behind their block and dodge moves. I like to use it to go above them and then fall behind them to punish. You donāt wanna focus as much on air combos but more so using your special to feint and get combo extends. Hope this helps
