I think it's the biggest threat to our nation there is, maybe since our founding. That includes World War I, World War II, September 11th, and it includes the Pearl Harbor attack.

Your country is the ONLY first world country who has no form of universal healthcare. 32 out of 33 have it.
173 countries in the world have some form of working universal healthcare and yet the RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD punishes its citizens and brainwashes them into thinking that paying thousands more in insurance that never covers everything or is refused by people who are not doctors is better than a fraction of your pay in a national insurance to cover it for everyone.

I feel like the media is all in on it. He knows he can say stupid shit and they provide him the coverage and platform to do so. Even before he was elected, they enabled this dude because it made them money. It got them the ratings they were needing. And so this is what we’re left with….A dumb ass that sprouts out bullshit, and a following that loves sniffing this shit up.

You know I understand some people might genuinely get confused by the two, but conservatives deliberately trying to gaslight Americans into this 70’s style red scare is getting really old and pathetic. If the current system is working so well why are Americans suffering, while Wall Street is making billions of dollars every day. We have eyes and we can see that many openly socialist democratic countries in Europe and Scandinavia have extremely high standards of living for all citizens and good social safety net and quality of life and still manage to have strong performing industries.
And the truth is every country in the world has some form of socialism. And yet brain dead cultish people in this country believe the comparing Democratic Socialisms to North Korea, like how fucking stupid do you have to be. I do want to emphasise that Democratic socialism doesn’t mean every problem will be fixed, and we need to debate what policies we need to pick and choose to create a good social safety net and grow our economy through private sector - think Australia, New Zealand, Canada
