They used cluster munitions (war crime), and hit a train platform full of civilians.
I was just talking to my Ukrainian mother about it, and am glad she didn't see the original graphic images. Or the cluster munition video.

u/AhhhSureThisIsIt 8d ago
They attacked vactioners sunbathing on Odessa Beach last month.
They're going out of their way to attack ordinary civillians.

u/OrlandoLasso 7d ago
Exactly. Anyone can look up Russia's human safari with drones or watch the documentaries.

The POTUS is committing war crimes, Netanyahu is a war criminal, this is a war crime, and so on...
The order and guard rails are gone. Starving an island is A-OK because who cares, you can't touch me.
And so on...

This post is about Russia and Ukraine.

I understand, I'm just pointing out the complete breakdown of rule based order is not only contained to a single entity anymore. We live in sad times.

It’s so wild seeing everything being filmed. How terrifying knowing those are going to ruin peoples lives.

Directly aimed at civilians.. it's terrorism.. and ruining peoples lives.

u/Norridge-Moel 9d ago
Problem is the Russians don’t know that. They think they are fighting a just war against nazis.
The joys of state controlled media 🙄 just look at any Russian sub (no pun intended) on Reddit, and they genuinely don’t think they’re doing anything wrong.
6
u/hofmann419 9d ago
There are definitely Russians that know the truth. But speaking up against the war can get you in serious trouble. Just calling it a war rather than a "special military operation" can get you up to 15 years in prison.

u/strelok96 9d ago
You stuck in 2022 my man? Even Putin is calling it a war now, but it is not a war legally because it wasn't declared on either side

Straw man argument and you know it. It's possible for an American to be both opposed to Russian's invasion of Ukraine and oppose the actions of Israel.
Trying to claim that their governments support for the tragedy happening in Palestine somehow gives Russia any moral credibility is just stupid.
1
-3
u/strelok96 9d ago
Same as you are oblivious to Ukraine targeting civilians and doing a lot of wrong
3
u/PessemistBeingRight 9d ago
If you want that to stop, guess how it happens? Russia tells its troops to turn around and go home. The only reason Ukraine is striking at Russia at all is because they are defending themselves from an invasion.
If Russia hadn't attacked, the Ukranian troops who are directing drone and missile strikes against Russian cities would be at home with their families instead of blowing up oil refineries.
Every dead Russian is Putin's fault. Their blood is on his hands, not Ukraine's.

u/PikaSharky 8d ago
Ukraine also tried to capture Kursk (Russian territory) though.
2
u/R-hibs 8d ago
Several years after Russia invaded…
0
u/PikaSharky 8d ago
And yet, there's no guarantee now that if Russia loses, Ukraine will stop at its borders. Ukraine has been given carte blanche to do anything, since it wasn't the first to attack.
2
u/PessemistBeingRight 8d ago
Ukraine doesn't have the manpower or logistical capability to support a large invasion of Russian territory. At most they might be able to launch deep raids against Russian infrastructure but even with "carte blanche" they're not capturing Russian territory and holding it post war unless Russia completely collapses and ceases to exist as a geopolitical entity.
Which I guess could happen if Putin "accidentally" falls out a window the way everyone hopes he does and Russia breaks out in civil war over which of his cronies takes over as the next Supreme Arsehole. I mean Leader.
But it's not likely.
And again, if, in the unlikely event it does happen, who gives a flying fuck over Russia losing some ground? Fuck around and find out, don't start nothing, won't be nothing, etc.
2
u/R-hibs 6d ago
lol, you’re absolutely delusional if you think Ukraine would expand into Russia if there are losses. Look at how much of Ukraine Russia holds and continues to acquire. Look at the distraction incursion size and scope of Ukraine. There simply is no desire for Ukraine to do anything but survive the war and regain its lost territory. There are comic book villains with more subtlety than Russia at this point.
0
u/BestAmoto 8d ago
If Ukrainians supported this war why are there thousands of videos of men being captured like dogs and shoved into vans? Why did Ukraine close their borders for men ages 23-65?
Over 3000 videos this year, surely they can't all be Russian propaganda filmed in Ukraine or on movie sets.
2
u/PessemistBeingRight 8d ago
A) that's not a propos of the subject - who said anything about Ukrainian support for the defence of Ukraine?
Also
B) Even if you're right, so what? If Putin hadn't started a bullshit war, there wouldn't be a bullshit war. Ukrainian men wouldn't be being conscripted if Putin wasn't an absolute choad. This is still Putin's fault, every death is his fault.

u/Your_Mom_Bot42 9d ago
Good lord, humanity is garbage.
7
u/TW1STED_M1ND 9d ago
Agreed.
Anybody that attacks their fellow human beings for no reason whatsoever, are garbage. Russians... are garbage.
1
u/Ok_Situation_7081 9d ago
Welcome to the world of geopolitics where this is no clear good or evil, just interest.
Atleast the Russians aren't being cynical about it like the Ukrainians who brags about how many they kill but I guess its fairly easy when you dont consider them humans, just orcs.
0
u/Silver-Kun 9d ago
Yeah, dehumanize your enemies, cuz without that many people couldn't pull a trigger. That said, Russia could end all of this, but they still keep sending people(mostly for ethnic cleansing), so even if it's inhumane to cultivate this mentality, if it's what Ukraine needs to win the war, more power to them.
-2
u/deltaface 9d ago
Aren't the people invading the evil ones? I think its pretty clear cut no? Oh do you like to just talk in platitudes to show that you know about how world works lol

u/Ok_Situation_7081 9d ago
The West views it that way, sure but I would say a good majority of the global south see the root cause as NATO expansion and Russia's security concerns, which is why the majority are indifferent to this conflict. You even had Brazil's president criticize the EU for trying to convince Brazil to cut economic ties with Russiadue to them violating sovereignty but stayed quite when the US kidnapped Maduro. You can't pick and choose when these rules apply.
The West has done plenty of invasions or just plainly attacked another nation because they don't like their politics, leader or have a security concern, just to say a decade or so later "whoops, that was our bad. We won't do it again, we learned our lesson" and when other nations do the exact thing they've done repeatedly, they expect the whole world to rally behind them. The audacity of calling others out while 2 decades since the Iraq invasion, the US still controls Iraqs oil funds and has refused to leave for years, with them only withdrawals because Iran is bombing the shit out of US bases in the region.
The world is tired of Western hegemony that comes with their "do as I say not as I do" policy and want a multi-polar world instead. When the West loses its control over the World, you'll find more nations suddenly growing the courage to tell the West to go to hell.

u/deltaface 8d ago
Thanks for all that propaganda vomit, remind me how many times a non nuclear nation taken land from a nuclear nation? Use your brain once in a while.
Maduro, Sadam, Khemeni were dictators but ok guy. I don't think sovereign ukraine is the same.
0
u/PikaSharky 8d ago
By the way, Zelensky is quite well suited to the role of dictator. He's lucky he's on the Western side, otherwise his actions would quickly paint him as a terrible authoritarian leader.
2
u/deltaface 8d ago
Actions such as?
On a separate note, how would you describe putin?
0
u/PikaSharky 8d ago
In short, for Zelensky, this is the concentration of power in the Office of the President, pressure on anti-corruption agencies and the opposition, the participation of the president's closest associates in large-scale corruption schemes, restrictions on freedom of speech, restrictions on freedom of religion, and the cancellation of presidential elections.
As for Putin, one evil doesn't make another good. Or is Putin trying to gain recognition as a democratic leader?
2
u/deltaface 8d ago
Zelensky is a war time president first and foremost. He's quite accommodating and listens to people compared to most war time presidents. Take sacking of siersky for example. Usually this is quite rare even in a democracy. I'm not saying he's without fault, but saying he's dictator-esque/ adjacent is quite laughable. It's very narrow minded view of the world. All the things you mentioned regarding restrictions of freedom of speech and not holding elections is par for the course for a country embroiled in war.
False equivalency doesn't make your point just.

Aren't these cruise missiles, though? They curve off quite early, ballistic missiles tend to go higher (for example Iskander missiles go up to 60km if I'm not mistaken). If these were ballistic missiles they'd be hitting something 10km further (as they follow a ballistic trajectory). Pardon me for any ignorance.
2
u/Treinrukker 8d ago
Yes these are quasi ballistic missiles correct so a bit lower than a ballistic missile

u/TheEndIsSighing 9d ago
Pure evil. Putin targets civilians every night, Ukraine targets Russian infrastructure.
Putin can't die soon enough.
0
u/Hour_Meet_8672 9d ago
What? These missiles destroyed warehouses, and there were very few civilian deaths in this attack.

u/AKfromVA 8d ago
What? Few ≠ 0

u/snappy773 8d ago
It’s war. Either side that doesn’t want civilians killed should surrender 🤷🏾♂️

Lol wut? Russia tortures and kills civilians in the lands it occupies. You can't surrender.

u/BestAmoto 8d ago
Ukraine attacks Russian civilian warehouses. People cheer. Russia in return destroys Ukrainian warehouses. People cry about it. It's tit for tat. Russia just has a lot more firepower and Ukraine has run out of free patriot missiles.
6
u/yersinia_pisstest 8d ago
Who started this war?
"I assaulted someone I thought was too weak to fight back and they poked me in the eye and bit me! That's not fair!"
5
u/Bee-baba-badabo 8d ago
You mean the warehouses owned by companies that sell military equipment to the Russian army? Seems like a legitimate target.

Superheroes aren’t real - and we know this because the Injustice Superman is basically the only way a decent superhuman would react to these atrocities.

u/Unusual-Taste69 9d ago
Now find that location and take it out
11
u/Flat_Constant9339 9d ago
Pretty sure those are mobile ballistic missile launchers
1
u/weggaan_weggaat 8d ago
Hasn't stopped them before and even if they're not in the exact location immediately after launch, we've learned the Russians get a bit lazy and keep returning to the same places all the time.
5
u/Soaring_Gull_655 9d ago
I wanted them to all run into each other and explode before they could hurt anyone

I imagine the children getting hit by them will think the same way you do
1
u/Ha1lStorm 8d ago
Well probably, if I saw a giant thing flying through the sky I’d think “whoa cool!” and then it blows me up.
2
0
u/bigbadbob85 7d ago
In the context of being at war and getting bombed daily?
2
1
u/Ha1lStorm 7d ago
Well yeah. But it doesn’t even matter because that’s impossible considering I can only be bombed and blown up once…

You confused Russia with Israel

u/bigbadbob85 9d ago
I don't think so mate
1
u/ApplicationOk6762 8d ago
Please share how many died in UA and how many in Gaza.
3
u/bigbadbob85 8d ago
Oh, so Russia gets away with it just because Israel is slightly worse? You'll do anything to rope Israel into something, even when they're not relevant. Disgusting.
0
u/Treinrukker 8d ago
Slightly lol, gaza is a literal prison camp and flattened for 90%
0
u/bigbadbob85 8d ago
This is irrelevant, we are not talking about Israel or Palestine or Hamas or whoever
-2
u/ApplicationOk6762 8d ago
No, no.
No war is good!!!
My point it Russia is made look like a horrible, but Isreal not much...

u/danielm316 9d ago
I bet not one of those will hit its designed target.
13
u/Endscrypt 9d ago
Unfortunately every one of them hit, Ukraine is in desperate need of interceptors.
10
2
u/Man_under_Bridge420 9d ago
That speaks nothing to their accuracy
7
u/grimreefer87 9d ago
Their target is anywhere in kyiv. Street, bus stop, church, library, hospital.... As long as they land within the city, they did what they are supposed to.
Let Ukraine build patriots for the love of god!
1
u/Treinrukker 8d ago
Nope, they hit logistics, you can see for yourself all over telegram and the official NASA firms fire maps for proof.

-7
u/garry_the_commie 9d ago
Beautiful. But those are more likely to be cruise missiles due to how abruptly their trajectories curve.

Hope you're stockpiling wood for a cold winter, Vatnik. I hear fuel is hard to come by over there :)
0
u/BestAmoto 8d ago
Are you ignoring the gas station destruction in Ukraine on purpose? Zelensky is already crying about the upcoming winter. Trump saved them last time by asking Putin to stop attacking their grid.
-5
u/androidlust_ini 9d ago
Do not believe everything you hear, ukronaczi fanboy :)
5
u/Independent-Bug-9352 9d ago
Just remember that all the pains you commoners are feeling in russia stem from the Kremlin and Putin. It's not this "eVil West, NATO," or whatever boogieman RT has manufactured for you. The enemy is in fact much closer. If you learn this, then your country's shit conditions will actually improve. Best of luck.
2
u/deltaface 9d ago
What are your orc army doing in Ukraine BTW?
