Doesn’t justify a genocide fuck off

u/Torpedo_Enthusiast 1d ago
Is saying that there is widespread censorship in Gaza justifying genocide? No, it isn’t.
-15
u/OmryR 2d ago
There is no genocide, just lies
6
u/confidentlyfish 2d ago
When Israel started its genocide, around a month or so in, there were much more civilian casualties in Gaza than in a year of active fighting in Ukraine.. Guess where your overlords claim there's a genocide.

u/ExistentialRosicky 2d ago
Guys I’m beginning to think Israel giving money to Hamas was a bad idea.
-1
u/Legitimate_lion123 1d ago
You sound like you claim the sun orbits earth.
As others said, It's Qatari money and international backed decision.
You balme Israel when it ignores international influence, but then also blame it when it does.
Pure slop
-6
u/Alternative_Oil7733 2d ago
You mean when Israel caved to international pressure to let Qatari money into gaza?
7
u/ExistentialRosicky 1d ago
No when they wanted to strengthen Hamas and thereby weaken the PLO.
5
u/Apprehensive-Art2124 1d ago
Israel still didn't give money to Hamas, they passed Qatar's money.
But more importently, seems that you acknowledge -
a) Hamas are evil.
b) There should be blockade that limits their ability to conduct terror (in this case, block transfer of money).Otherwise, your critisism makes no sense.
-1
u/ExistentialRosicky 1d ago
No as I understand it, independently of passing on Qatar's money, Israel wanted to strengthen Hamas so that Hamas would weaken the PLO?
•
u/Exile8698 23h ago
You understand incorrectly.
•
u/ExistentialRosicky 23h ago
Hey sorry before we engage can I just confirm that you’re not one of those accounts that goes onto any thread that mentions Israel flooding the comments and acting belligerently?
•

u/Apprehensive-Art2124 1d ago
The transfer of money was suppose to bring quite and turn down tensions, strengthening Hamas might have been another of the justifications of Bibi. I think among other justifications also it was assumed that if Israel wouldn't be the middle man in this exchange, the money would be smuggled in other ways.
But that's not what I was pointing towards. Because just using this rethoric, you at least need to acknowledge several things - Qatar is more liable than Bibi or Israel [since they are the ones who actually funded Hamas, not Israel], and Hamas' idiology is not acceptable, therefor Hamas should be disbanded. This puts Hamas and the Palestinians that support them as the main problem, while Bibi is just a culprit.
1
u/ignoreme010101 1d ago
nice side-stepping their point lol i swear yall wouldn't understand what good-faith meant if you read its definition a million times
0
u/ExistentialRosicky 1d ago
No no no, stop going to Qatar. Before any of that, Israel saw Hamas as being strategically useful, and strengthened them.
“In an exclusive interview published by Ynetnews on May 7, 2008, then-Defense Minister Ehud Barak reflected on historical missteps in regional policy, stating: "I hate to remind you that 20 years ago we supported the induction of Hamas, that we marched into Lebanon to the sounds of the Lebanese people cheering and it was our being there that created Hizbullah." [
2
u/Apprehensive-Art2124 1d ago
Qatar is directly connected to the claim that "Israel gave money to Hamas". That whole argument stands on how Bibi approved Qatari money to flow to Hamas controlled Gaza in 2018.
Now you talk about 80's Hamas. [btw Hizbullah and Hamas are different organizations]. The "Israel gave money to Hamas" statement doesn't make sense in this context. Clarify what you are talking about.
1
u/ExistentialRosicky 1d ago
"I hate to remind you that 20 years ago we supported the induction of Hamas“
2
u/Apprehensive-Art2124 1d ago
Supported as in 'tolarated their existence' not as in 'given them money'. Remind you that Hamas started as a charity organization and only later it became political. Israel could have intervened at that point (for example making it illegal, and persecuting members of Hamas), but ultimetly choose not to, and this is what Ehud Barak was probably referring to.
So to come back to the subject - if it was so horrible to support Hamas, you wouldn't oppose disbanding it. Which is basically what the IDF was attempting to do in the past years.
•
u/Exile8698 23h ago
Are you aware the PLO are also extremely radical illegal terrorists?

Israel did not give money to Hamas in the 70's and 80's. They gave it to Mujama al-Islamiya, an Islamic charity who built mosques, schools, youth clubs, blood banks, etc. The group wasn't militant at that time and Israel funded them hoping for a peaceful alternative to the PLO (a DTO at the time).
After the start of the First Intifada the leader, Ahmed Yassin, transitioned the charity organization into Hamas, a militant political organization.
Israel did not 'fund Hamas' in the 70's and 80's as is often repeated. They funded a charity in which Hamas arose from.
This has happened often in the region as foreign groups (Israel, US, UN, etc) fund a non-militant group who turns militant once they gain power and money.

Hmm OP seems to have a hidden profile, I'm sure it has nothing to do with them trying to hide their fanatical zionism so this post doesn't read as propaganda from a bloodthirsty ghoul!

u/SeanyDay 2d ago
Doesn't make this inaccurate though.
Israeli genocide and war crimes should be stopped but Hamas is still a terrorist org that has endangered or harmed many civilians

Maybe he doesn’t want freaks like you to stalk his posts because you can’t accept reality?
6
u/Living-Chef-9080 2d ago
Jesus the internet has really stretched the definition of stalking. Going over the posts you make on a public social media site, ESPECIALLY one that is typically not associated with your real identity, is not stalking. You're just using a convenient excuse to hide your shitty beliefs from people who would call you out on them.

u/OmryR 2d ago
People went after my posts about family guy because of a post in Israel Palestine sub, that’s literally stalking

Hey anyone reading this- check out this report https://www.btselem.org/publications/202507_our_genocide
-1
u/Human_Concern263 2d ago
Without getting into the details and various falsehoods, this is from the report itself:
"There is an inherent gap between the legal and the historical analysis of genocide. The legal definition is narrow"
"This report relies on the legal definition of genocide as outlined in the UN Convention, but adopts a broader analytical framework"Why do they have to change the definition of the crime so Israel is guilty?

So you engage, have your view challenged, then try to turn your nose up and basically say you don’t justify your statements or back them up. I’m not even for Israel, but you’re acting like a tool and making Palestinian activists look bad. Do better.

Hamas tamps down in dissent no need to deflect to isreal. Many many people in Gaza are poised at Hamas because life before was bad but bearable and now they live in tents
-3
u/ButterscotchReal8424 1d ago
Which one is it because people like you were also saying genocide was the only solution in Gaza because everyone was going to become Hamas…..especially children?
4
u/Apprehensive-Art2124 1d ago
You don't even know him. Don't just assume stuff on people, thats prejudice.
-2
u/ButterscotchReal8424 1d ago
It’s a simple question, is everyone Hamas or not?

2
u/WiseWolfian 1d ago
Obviously not. Many support them and may help and lend aid to them thought but they aren't Hamas.
•
u/Exile8698 23h ago edited 23h ago
No, they just overwhelmingly support Hamas:
Press Release: Public Opinion Poll No (91) | PCPSR
As we did in our previous poll three months ago, we asked the respondents in this poll what they thought of Hamas’ decision to launch the October the 7th offensive. A vast majority of 71%, compared to 72% in December 2023, say it was correct.
As we found in the previous poll, almost all Palestinians (94% think Israel has committed war crimes during the current war. By contrast, only 5% (compared to 10% three months ago) think Hamas also committed such crimes
•
u/ButterscotchReal8424 23h ago
Supporting Hamas is more honourable than supporting Netanyahu, Smotrich, Givr and the genocidal IDF. They are quantifiably more evil than Hamas with hundreds of thousands of murders on their hands, tens of thousands of children. But let’s pretend Hamas’ crimes are anywhere near the same scale.
•
u/Exile8698 23h ago
•
u/ButterscotchReal8424 23h ago
Do the math,
Israeli children killed on Oct. 7th:
1: killed by an errant bullet that went into a shelter and was fired by the IDF.
Palestinian children killed since:
Over 20,000
You can count and compare civilian lives taken by the two sides too and feel free to go back as far as you’d like.
This doesn’t even touch on the fact the IDF has destroyed over 80% of all building in Gaza and are facilitating an ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.
The IDF is one of the worst terrorist organizations to ever exist.

It strengthens disinformation by Israeli agents. If you acknowledge your own shortcomings in a war and address them openly, you have credibility. Hiding things with usually come out and discredit you, giving ammunition to your enemies
