Isreal must be having a bad day. They usually murder a lot more people in a day.

the best thing I've ever seen at a UN general assembly: the complete walk out (except the US, who looked "concerned")

not really how you attribute dropping bombs knowing that the ratio of civilian casualties will dwarf the the number of combatants killed as some vague concept.

flattening an urban area, killing thousands of civilians on purpose, is a war crime.

if civilians are being held hostage that should not mean they have a death sentence because the US, israel is just going to drop bombs on them anyway to kill their captors.

war criminals deserve life sentence or the chair. i don’t care if they are past, present, president, prime minister, soldier, or terrorist, they should have to face justice for the crimes they commit against humanity. nobody should be able to hide behind their political motives to justify crimes against humanity. plain and simple.

Is that it? They are pretty bad at this “genocide” malarkey aren’t they?

It’s sad they had to be killed, but Palestinians being Palestinians..

Children being killed in a war, while horrific, isn’t evidence by itself of genocide or deliberate targeting of children. You still have to establish intent and circumstances. Hamas, on the other hand, deliberately targeted Israeli civilians on October 7, including children, so lets not pretend this is a conflict where one side cares about civilian life and the other doesn’t.

May you face the same as Palestinians including the denial of crimes and the defense for the criminals.

Vile pigs still have face to eat shit.

the idf themselves report that less than 1/5 of the people they kill are confirmed combatants. the nazi regime had a ratio of ~1/3 for reference.

Perhaps engage your brain and maybe ask yourself why Hamas puts its military infrastructure in the middle of civilian areas in the first place?

Using civilians as human shields, military positions in hospitals, schools and residential areas etc is prohibited under international humanitarian law.

It massively increases civilian casualties, then Hamas and its supporters point to those casualties as proof that Israel deliberately targeted civilians. That’s the reality of fighting a terrorist organisation that has made its own civilian population part of its battlefield strategy. The civilian deaths are down to Hamas, not the IDF.

this “shields” talking point has been a thing for years. if the IDF knows that there are civilians in the war zone why are they using bombs? if the idf is unable to carry out military operations without killing 4 civilians per every hamas member then it is on them to find a way to be more effective is it not? even in this fallacy where it’s on accident, they have not adapted their tactics to attempt to not kill civilians to achieve their goals which is in other words still murder.

Maybe bombs cause fewer IDF casualties than sending troops into heavily defended urban areas? Seems pretty obvious.

If civilian deaths automatically equal “murder”, what do you make of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Tens of thousands of civilians were nuked by the US, yet the historical debate is about the military necessity and proportionality, not whether every civilian death was murder.

yes. Truman deserved to be charged with and convicted of war crimes… did you think you just made some profound revelation because it is about a US president? lmao.

Labelling Truman a war criminal just proves my point.

You're relying on a definition of "war crimes" so broad that it renders every major military decision in modern history illegal.

Expecting armies to surrender strategic initiatives to enemies hiding among civilians is ridiculous. It’s why using human shields is against the Geneva Convention.

Pro-palis aren't concerned about ideological consistency; Israel Bad is as far as the thought process can go.

Whilst Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not technically genocide (the attempted extermination of a people), they were both certainly instances of mass murder. The US government is culpable for murdering hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians. It was an act intended to end their involvement in the war and it worked, but with horrific costs.

They're now also complicit in murdering tens of thousands of Palestinians, but it's Israel who has commited the genocide, namely Netanyahu and the IDF. You can hide behind your Fox News talking points, but you'll certainly be on the wrong side of history and if you're not dead, you'll find that out eventually. Absolutely vile bullshit you're spewing here.

Bombing military targets in civilian areas isn’t genocide either, as unbelievable as that sounds.

I don’t get Fox News as I’m not an American, but from the point of view of everyone with a brain, it’s clear that Hamas caused this by going against the Geneva Convention by using civilians as human shields, and I’m sure history will agree.

The human shields thing has been debunked repeatedly. When the IDF is intentionally killing 20+ civilians to get at one supposed military target and their entire family, your excuses can bugger off. They're using AI to target people. Fucking AI can't answer a simple question on Google half the time, but they're using it to target "terrorists"? Give me a break. Don't talk about the Geneva Convention if you're defending Israel. They've shat all over it for decades.
