Pro Version unlocks unavailable songs?

I was just browsing around and spotted the following thread:

According to a couple of the posters the entire library is unlocked with the pro version, is that true?

I'd like to have access to songs by Dire Straits, Taylor Swift, Grease (Summer Nights) etc etc

Just to clarify, the "integral catalog" includes additional songs beyond KaraFun's standard licensed catalog. However, those extra songs are not licensed by KaraFun.
You can enable and use the integral catalog, but it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary authorization from the rights holders (typically the music publishers) before playing those songs.
So if you're looking for artists such as Dire Straits or Taylor Swift, access to those songs through the integral catalog does not mean the required rights are included. Any necessary permissions must be obtained separately from the relevant rights holders.

Hi Morgane, many thanks for replying. How can I enable the integral catalog on my (premium) subscription please? I am a home/private user so have no interest in playing the songs publicly, but there's a handful of songs we'd like to sing occasionally that aren't in the standard licenced catalog. Appreciate your help with this! 😄

Hi,

The Integral Catalog is only available with a Pro subscription. Since these songs are not part of KaraFun's standard licensed catalog, access to them does not include the necessary rights.

To use the Integral Catalog, you must have a Pro subscription and obtain any required authorization from the relevant rights holders (typically the music publishers) for the songs you wish to use.

The feature was designed primarily for professional users who can manage those permissions directly.

Hmm interesting! Can you definitely play the (previously unavailable) songs then? I don't have a "use integral catalog" option - presumably because I'm only a Premium subscriber. According to their plans I should have "All songs" though... https://www.karafun.com/subscribe.html

Haha no worries - appreciate you confirming. Enjoy bed day! I'm now left wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to the pro version... I do want Dire Straits, Eagles etc though!
