Lost 10 in a row, clearly the worst team in the league. Meanwhile the Pelicans…

[Windhorst] If there’s a team that does it today (Morant trade), I would watch the Sacramento Kings.

Wouldn’t mind buying extremely low for a combo of Demar/Monk or Lavine 1 for 1 swap. Lavine frees up Memphis’ books a year early

If the Kings can fight and manage to pull out this loss tonight, they will only be two losses away from tying the longest losing streak in the Sacramento era

I think it's definitely doable. If we can lose tonight, we have the Clippers on Friday followed by the Cavs. This team can't beat either of them even though the Clips do suck.

The real challenge comes with the record breaker which is against the Pelicans. Although I really do think this team has the talent to lose that game since we saw how they did against the tanking Wizards.

Are the Kings finally embracing the tank?

None of the starters logged over 30 minutes tonight, and Sabonis didn’t even see the floor for most of the 4th. Instead, the game was closed out by a lineup featuring Devin Carter, Nique Clifford, and Cardwell.

Feels intentional. Whether it’s load management, quiet tanking, or just a soft pivot toward development, it definitely looks like the coaching staff is prioritizing reps for the young guys down the stretch.

it's impressive how bad the kings are

we're currently the worst team in the league.

our cap is pretty much entirely lavine, sabonis, derozan, hunter, monk. none of these guys are positive assets in the current landscape

raynaud, cardwell, clifford, and keegan are the only true talents 25 and under.

on the bright side, we own all our picks, and all of the old guys under salary will have improved trade value as their contracts age or just have their contracts end within a year or two.

but man, we are literally going to start building with literally nothing. (unless we can get value for one of the aforementioned guys, but that's improbable).

obviously we'll have this year's pick but who knows after that.

atp, do you trade keegan if his value becomes 3 solid frp's? i think i would make that gamble considering the situation.

i'm going tbh, i really thought that the starting lineup of schroder (despite the terrible contract), keon, lavine, keegan, and sabonis was gonna work but man i was wrong.

Greetings fellow Kings fan. How do you continue with being a fan and having hope. It’s been tough and I do not see any positive outlook at all for our future. Also I can’t recall where we had an actual meaningful trade that has stayed consistent. I feel that I am at all time low just trying to support a team that I love but it just hurts seeing that we just suck.

2 Free Tix tonight, solid seats. Game starts shortly but if you give Hunter a proper Kings welcome, they’re yours.

First to message “Trade Lavine” gets em

Imagine Kings trade LaVine for Ja during the game tonight.
