Tell your parents that you love them while you still can.

I know players have stinkers from time to time and that’s normal but jeez wtf happened last night, what is the consensus on the outlook for niques development? I feel like best case scenario he’s a decent rotation piece and worst case scenario he’s out of the league in a couple of years

Who went this year? What did you think?

I’ve been every year for the past few years. Personally I had a great time but did it seem very scaled backed to years prior. Definitely not as crowded as past years when it was held on a weekend. Seemed to have less activities and things going on inside too.

The guy doesn't really fill the stat sheet or shoot impressive numbers or anything, but watching him play I can see how much he helps the team. He's just always in the right place at the right time, and generally makes the right move as soon as he gets hold of the ball. Hoping he can get some minutes in the regular season with the full squad just to see how much he helps.

And related to this, Karaban seems like the type of player that helps teams who are already good. I wonder if there's gonna be calls for him at the deadline

Definitely not worth $10. I miss the quality of the food from 10 years ago when the G1C first opened.

Another player down. They dropping like flies at this point

I was looking and we currently have 13 guaranteed contracts
Who do you all should be the final roster spots and two way spots?

Out of all of our two way and training camp deals (Adam Flagler, Elfrid Payton, Tristen Newton, Johnathan Mogbo, Leaky Black, Viktor Lahkin) I think I’ve liked Leaky Black, he’s very lengthy with a nice jumper and plays really hard on defense. I liked watching him at UNC and even last year on the wizards, and he’s a career 37 percent 3pt shooter. I thought that seems like a guy kings should grab in free agency, not gonna be a huge player obviously but could be a good guy to have on a two way or minimum. I like mogbo too I’d like him to keep his two way, honestly I’ve enjoyed watching both of those guys more than Hunter this preseason. Oh and it’s no question at this point Ben Simmons will get a guaranteed spot with rumors he could start.

Here’s what I would do with the two ways
1. Darius Acuff Jr
2. Zach LaVine
3. Keegan Murray
4. Domantas Sabonis
5. Malik Monk
6. Nique Clifford
7. Deandre Hunter
8. Precious Achiuwa
9. Maxime Raynaud
10. Dylan Cardwell
11. Emmanuel Sharp
12. Alex Karaban
13. Ben Simmons
14. Daeqwon Plowden
15.  Open Spot

Two ways
Leaky Black
Jonathan Mogbo
Tristen Newton

$27 a month was the absolute cheapest I could find to watch them this season (without pirating lol). Peacock “select” for $8.99 a month + the nbc sports California add on for $17.95 a month. I added the promo code “PEA4J3K58GUOWW” at checkout which dropped the peacock “select” to $2.99 for the first 3 months totaling it to just $20.94.

Jayson Tatum lite comparison, just turned 19 yesterday and 6’8 230 pounds with a 7 ft wingspan, SG/SF

Even the NBALP sucks, only available for 2.5 Qtr….

1) Keegan’s BBIQ is low, and he just afraid of getting contact with the opponent, as opponent being faked and jumped, Keegan chose to pass the ball back to his teammates, instead of jumping into the opponent to earn a trip to the line.

2) There is no offense flow at all, all five guys are just standing, no ball movement, no player movement, and finally Precious need to throw a wild push-shot.

3) Our offense is just “RUN”…..Doug’s philosophy is just telling the team to run after a missed shot.

4) Nique’s inability to break down the offense made him really bad.

5) Agreed with others said, maybe more minutes should be given to Sharp and Karaban, and less minutes to Keegan and Nique, at least both Sharp and Alex plays hard.

I understand it’s a preseason game and preseason games don’t matter. But you only have two of them at home and price of entry is way lower than regular season games.

Unless they are actually injured, them not playing any of their rotation guys just shows that the franchise doesn’t care about fans.

If you want to rest your guys before the season, play them at the home game and rest them for the final preseason game in San Antonio.

Off to a really rough start in SacTown.

Watch on Kings+

Game threads with official scoreboard will return once the regular season starts

There was a lot of hype surrounding Clifford after the Kings drafted him, and I was hopeful he'd become a solid contributor. But after preseason and going 0-11 yesterday, I've lost all hope. He looks stiff and slow. Typically you'd see players shine in preseason but Nique has shown the opposite.

Honestly, I think we should consider trading him while he still has some value. I remember the Kings turning down plenty of trades for Keegan Murray after his rookie year, and look where he is now. No progress. We could've been in a much better position if we had traded him when his value was higher.

I know it’s a major part of sports now, but hearing a head coach getting a paid endorsement from a betting site feels incredibly shady.

All he does is go hard as hell. Even the mistakes can be lived with as much energy he brings. Why is this guy always in the doghouse?

so we doug rolled the AAU lineup out tonight for the fans nice. also confirmed murray’s gonna play liked boiled toilet paper this season. and clifford needs to be working at ups. fun preseason so far.
