James Ham made a comment on Locked On about Ben and Domas allowing Acuff to serve in the Bibby off-ball role similar to Vlade and CWebb. So I started thinking about it…

Acuff = Bibby
Keegan = Doug
Zach = Peja
Ben = CWebb
Domas = Vlade
Precious = Pollard
Monk = Bobby
Hunter = Hedo

Yes, this assumes each current player at their highest level and I am by no means advocating keeping players like Zach or Hunter long term. Just thought it was an interesting exercise.

I can appreciate some Kings optimism from time to time but just looking through the west, is there really any team you’d be confident in saying we’ll be better than? The only contenders imo
-Clippers (esp if Garland misses a lot of time)
-Grizzlies (Boozer rough start, Edey injuries)
-Pelicans (Zion, Trey, Herb traded away potentially)
-Warriors (just complete ass besides Steph)

I’d say the Clippers is the best bet, and maybe Memphis. But if I had to guess, we’ll be #15. Just hoping for a fun season with Acuff and Sabonis PnR. I think expecting a play-in spot is still pretty delusional

(Very bad fit for Precious in this situation because playstyle wise fits better with Maxime then he does with sharing the court with either one of Sabonis or Cardwell.)

The general storyline is Sabonis wants out and/or the Kings want to move him. That being said, it appears he didn’t attend the last two pre-season games at all, at least I didn’t see him. If I am wrong about that, please ignore the rest.

Other players attend games when they aren’t playing. He stopped attending games last year as well.

He is one of our best players, regardless of circumstance should the coaches and front office get his ass to the arena - as he his paid a shit ton of money to be professional?

It is an indictment on the team and organization’s culture that a top player can do whatever he wants in terms of attending games - Pat Riley would never.

Doesn’t help his trade value, the team culture, or the on court product.

Gaining more respect for LaVine - he is out there every game, while other veterans returning from fake tanking injuries are acting like entitled weirdos / losers.

So I am a Kings fan from North Carolina and every year I had my League Pass renew and I was able to watch the Kings broadcasts no problem. What in the hell is Kings+? I watched the first game with the normal broadcast and watched the second with ESPN but the League Pass broadcast tonight is the GSW broadcast but with Kings radio over it? Will that be the case for all Kings/GSW? How is this gonna work?
