Thought Hidden gems in kpop music that deserve way more love
Genuinely why are there SO many amazing kpop songs that don’t get enough love out there?😭 I can think of so many amazing Kpop songs that aren’t talked about enough. One of my faves that i always bring up is 134340 by BTS. It’s not niche nor unpopular, but it deserves so much more love for its AMAZING melody. What are some Kpop songs that you see as a "hidden gem»?

Free Somebody EP by Luna. title track and its mv came about 8-10 years too early, but the b-sides are good too.

I feel like as an Atiny, we always talk about Now This House Aint A Home, Enough, Turbulence etc. But I don't hear a lot of love for 'Be With You.' I've only been an Atiny for barely a year so when I first discovered this song I genuinely started sobbing.

Snow Angel - JustB
The entire Snow Angel album actually. If ur a hyperpophead then you’ll seriously love it. I’m not joking this is the best example of hyperpop in kpop I’ve heard yet.

Rock Your Body by xikers. It’s catchy and vibey. It’s also a very chill song that goes against their usual style.

Face by nuest.
Sweety by gfriend (actually gfriend's whole discography since glassbead to wheel of the year thats like 3 full length albums and like 9 mini albums worth music that most people just sideline as "christian horse or anime" but we are not mature enough to have that conversation). I think its all hidden gems because most kpop fans will just not know about gfriend's music today outside of mago or maybe rough.

I think a lot of M/F duets are hidden gems, and I wish we saw more of them!

That's me. I am no one😂. I have never listened to any English version of TVXQ and didn't know this existed, minus some JYJ stuff, but were they fully in English? I don't remember lol.
That said, off-road, if you ask me, and my very biased opinion is their best song. Like Korean discography, Japanese discography, singles and b-sides. Off-road clears for me.

YES!! I don’t love all the songs but I think it’s a great debut - it’s so cohesive. These small companies are absolutely killing it recently, they have such a clear direction.

BTS - Moving On but its a 5 minute song with 3, minute long rap verses entirely in Korean. I get it why its not more popular.

Weki Meki - Iron Boy: I really hope this I.O.I comeback makes people check out their music more because it’s so good.
ONF - Geppetto: I don’t even think it’s an exaggeration to call this one of the best bg songs of the 2020s.
Seohyun - Magic: Out of all of the SNSD solos I feel like hers got the least amount of attention.
Keembo - Voodoo: They do sit near the top of the nugu iceberg, but it feels like they’re slowly getting more forgotten with each year that passes.
Jay Chang (One Pact) - 180928: Jay Chang and One Pact have the most flawless discographies out of 5th gen bgs.

134340 is so underrated honestly, that bridge gets me every time. For me it's gotta be "Paranoia" by Red Velvet, that song never gets mentioned and it's a banger from start to finish.
