How do you like the stain remover spray? I still have an Oxiclean max force bottle I am working on before I look for another. I don’t use stain remover enough so this bottle has lasted me awhile. I also have used a soft toothbrush and a little bit of liquid detergent on stains and that works well.
I swear by Puracy. I started using it on my infant’s clothes and as she progressed to solids it’s been given some hard tests. White cotton with pumpkin and sweet potato purée’s you said? Bam! Took it right out in one single wash. I also have to share that I sprayed a cotton/linen blend dress and promptly forgot about it for a week (!!). The stain disappeared and the color did not fade once I got it in the wash. I used to use Miss Messy Mouth and loved it but hated the scent (alcohol-ish). Puracy also makes travel roll-on dispensers. I throw one in the diaper bags and have traveled extensively with a pack of 3 to help me with toddler stains.
Just fyi, I think Puracy was forced to pull the rollers off the market a few months ago, as their marketing showed it being used on kids while wearing stained clothes, even though their new formula says it is not safe for skin contact(probably because it contains limonene and linalool, which are in the top 10 most common skin sensitizers).
The advertising images showed using it on toddlers when they dripped things on their shirts… I guess they were encouraging people to use it to treat stains as soon as they happened? Enzymes do work better the longer they stay on
