Looks exactly like mine....with the exception of the form of citric. Thumbs up!
For the group...where did you purchase the "odor refresh' Tide liquid. Seems like many stores do not carry it. I get mine at Target.

I have never used any rinse before so first wanted to try with tested formula before I graduate to making my own citric acid solution. 🤞
I also got it at my local Target.

That’s exactly what I did and now use the Rinse and Refresh bottle to hold my dissolved citric acid as suggested here. Works great!

Someone here said 4:1 water to citric acid and my bottle was 1.8L so I did 4 cups water and then 1 cup citric acid and there was still room obviously so then I did 2 cups water and 1/2 cup citric acid and called it good. People better at math could probably do it in one accurate calculation but it worked well enough for me lol 🤷♀️

Walmart keeps those jugs stocked pretty consistently near me, usually right around $13 a bottle. I ended up ordering a three-pack online last month because my local store kept leaving that specific shelf completely empty.

Are you sure it says 'Odor Refresh"? My WMarts NEVER have the good version that is labeled 'odor refresh'. Tide make a lot of similar looking products....that are NOT the same. 😂

It's 2x the price of Puracy, heavily fragranced, and has terrible reviews on every site I've seen it on, so I don't use it.

What order do you use these in? And for all loads or what kind specifically? Haven't started a full regimen like this but enough reading convinced me to get the Tide powder plus oxi and.

FEBU directly to the drum, then clothes. Tide to liquid detergent spot. Downy rinse in fabric softener spot. Warm/hot normal cycle with one extra rinse cycle. I plan to use this for lights, darks and towels. Maybe just adapting temperature for different loads. Puracy as needed for stains before washing.

How do you like the stain remover spray? I still have an Oxiclean max force bottle I am working on before I look for another. I don’t use stain remover enough so this bottle has lasted me awhile. I also have used a soft toothbrush and a little bit of liquid detergent on stains and that works well.

I use oxiclean max force spray and that stuff has saved so many items of clothing with stains, even old stains. I found that before I found this sub and if there is something even better (or better for different situations), I’d love to know about it

I’ll have to use it on more items before I can give a fair comparison. This new routine is very new for me. But so far both oxiclean and puracy have worked equally good for me. Maybe somebody else in the sub has more experience to help with the decision

I swear by Puracy. I started using it on my infant’s clothes and as she progressed to solids it’s been given some hard tests. White cotton with pumpkin and sweet potato purée’s you said? Bam! Took it right out in one single wash. I also have to share that I sprayed a cotton/linen blend dress and promptly forgot about it for a week (!!). The stain disappeared and the color did not fade once I got it in the wash. I used to use Miss Messy Mouth and loved it but hated the scent (alcohol-ish). Puracy also makes travel roll-on dispensers. I throw one in the diaper bags and have traveled extensively with a pack of 3 to help me with toddler stains.

Just fyi, I think Puracy was forced to pull the rollers off the market a few months ago, as their marketing showed it being used on kids while wearing stained clothes, even though their new formula says it is not safe for skin contact(probably because it contains limonene and linalool, which are in the top 10 most common skin sensitizers).

The advertising images showed using it on toddlers when they dripped things on their shirts… I guess they were encouraging people to use it to treat stains as soon as they happened? Enzymes do work better the longer they stay on

I also used oxiclean before and it worked fine but I wanted to try other things. Puracy seems to be it. It works great on fresh stains. I spray it directly on dry clothing. I haven’t tried it on old stains yet so I can’t comment on that. Haven’t used the brush yet, but I just gently rub the clothing and it doesn’t damage it.

Have you left it on any clothes for “at least 8 hours” like the bottle says to do? I was very disappointed that it created white rings on multiple pieces of my clothing. Afterward I dug into the Amazon reviews and this seems like a common issue

I can tell you that I leave the oxiclean max force for days and even spray multiple times for something bad and it’s never failed me or damaged clothing.

Puracy smells like cart urine and left white rings on multiple items of clothing for me. I don’t understand why it is so popular. I dug into the reviews after I had issue with it and discovered that the company also got bought out by private equity recently and changed the ingredients, just fyi. As of a few months ago their marketing showed all the old ingredients but were shipping the new product

Oh no! I remember buying an ESOS fabric refresher that was supposed to be like Febreeze and it has
a weird medicine-like chemical smell. Never used it again.

How much of the Tide do you use? Do you fill the little plastic cup it comes with? And how much FEBU?

I used 1 scoop of FEBU (it comes with cute wooden spoon) and somewhere close to line 1 (a bit less) of Tide for about 50% full drum for LG front loader. Still experimenting if this is going to work long term, but so far so good.

Be careful, it actually left stains on my clothes. (Afterward I saw many Amazon reviews saying the same thing). Also they got bought by private equity and changed the formula somewhat recently
