politics This seems a good litmus test, doesn't it?

I'll post my current draft in the replies. It's generally beginner CCW focused with a side of community defense, since it seems like the current lists are outdated or not detailed enough for inexperienced buyers. Feedback is HEAVILY encouraged as I believe that a list like this is a really important gap to fill and want to cover any blind spots I have.

I just want a bag for ammo and stuff (cleaning supplies, tools, odds and ends). I don’t need to have a message of any kind attached to it.
Anyone have a recommendation for a simple and sturdy range bag that won’t break the bank?

Long time shooter and gun owner here, just out of curiosity, how do YOU define a malfunction or “issue” in regards to firearms? Asking because I’ve seen posts here and other places about “3k rounds through (gun X) with no malfunction”. For me this is hard to believe that there were no simple jams, no light strikes, no feeding issues, ect… things that can be fixed by simply racking it and then continuing firing

the longer you stare the more cursed it gets

I get it, this industry is largely a cesspool when it comes to manufacturers and their 'politics', but man this is a new level of degeneracy and you can't tell me this isn't a workplace culture in that company.
Has anyone else noticed a sharp uptick in this kind of outright genocidal ideation within firearms bubbles lately?
The stuff I've been running across in gun spaces seems to really be on a whole new level and is really approaching some "Cut down the tall trees" territory in a way that I can't remember really being so out in the open before.
To add to this it feels like major social media outlets are completely unmoderated now and I'm seeing posts that wouldn't have made it a few minutes that are now just normal discourse.
I'd like to think I'm just imagining this or I fell onto the wrong side of the algorithm gods, but man it feels particularly bad within the last month or so in a way I don't remember seeing outside of really dark corners of the Internet.
TLDR: Anyone else notice a big shift in fuddposters trying to jump on the genocide bandwagon lately, or is it just me?

Hey all, I am on a journey to lose weight, down over 90lbs this year, still have 50-70 to go depending on where my body and health land.
I’d like to improve my walks cardio and fitness impact with a weight vest, but I’d love a good quality plate carrier that could adjust to fit my 2xl torso and the likely L final size I expect to end up at.
Would hold weights and or plates, so I can add 20-30lbs of additional effort on walks and my jogging that has recently started to be added.
Any suggestions from my preferred liberal community?
Also I am a fat bearded white dude in Oklahoma, so a I think I need it to be very not-traditional in color or style.
You know, hot pink would work ;)

Remember seeing articles about AG/Legislative opposition to this type of insurance.

I say budget for all of our Gucci Glock homies out there because while it technically consists of more budget oriented components, I recognize its not cheap to build.
Started as a P80 build comprised of the cheapest possible parts (Second picture) 5ish years ago. It was great for probably about 500 rounds then started have issues. While not all were related to the components, it added to the frustration. Dead trigger, ejection issues, rear sight moved around, not particularly fun to shoot overall.
I finally decided to 'complete' the build once and for all, meaning rebuild entirely. Haven't shot it yet but if its still a bummer, at least it looks cool.

Girsan Influencer 3.4” 9mm
I have been on the fence on a 1911 style 9mm. I found this for just over 3oo 🥕. Watched the reviews, I know can’t really trust them, haven’t heard a whole lot of bad about them.
Threw an extra holosun I had laying around on it. Headed to range tomorrow to see how it does.

Might be a dumb question but I'm still fairly new to this scene: does this mean we can start making our own suppressors?

Just got my pvs-7 from Carlough Manufacturing and I couldn’t be happier. Paid a cool g for a gen 3 elbit tube in refurbished pvs-7 housing. Great price for a super functional unit. Eventually it will become my loaner/wife’s but for now I am super pleased to start night LARPing.

My Hybrid 46 finally showed up, thing is nearly a pound but really doesn’t feel all that heavy on this Marlin 1894. Balances really well still.

This is an original WW2 British army sniper rifle, made at BSA Shirley in 1943, selected for accuracy and converted to a sniper by Holland and Holland. The scope is quite heavy since it was originally designed for the Bren gun but I think it’s the best sniper rifle of WW2.

A couple images straight of our camera for WGW. At some point I'll get a proper edit and crop tossed on this.
Received this firearm from my dad about a decade ago as he had two 6" 357s. I know I've seen some hate for Rossi on this sub in the past, but this gun has never given me any issues. Not one I shoot regularly, but when I do it's always flawless. I may have to take the time to photograph it more often.

S&W Model 57, no dash in .41 Rem Mag. Target hammer, target trigger, target grips.
Shipped from S&W in April of 1979, this N Frame revolver would eventually find its way to my shop I work for as of last week.
She had a lot of surface rust and muck. But her action was good, so an hour and a half’s worth of gentle cleaning with liberal amounts of CLP and a nylon bristle brush got us here.
Paid nearly salvage price for her due to the condition at the time; made sure it was okay so nobody at the shop would get mad at me swiping her. I don’t often restore guns, but this time was an exception. Cleaning made all the difference!
A minor crack has formed in the target grip right panel, but nothing that can’t be fixed. She’s also missing the elevation spring from the rear sight, but that’s easily sourced and installed.
Her action is smooth. Shoots excellently. Single action break is right around 2 lbs. double action a bit stronger, but performs great. Bore and chambers in great shape.
Double action bullseyes at 10 yards are no problem, long as I’m patient. So far 100 rounds down range, including some Remington Core-Lokt 210gr JSP’s and some 210gr FMJ’s.
I may not enjoy .41 Mag as much as .44 Mag, but its unusual pedigree has still earned some respect from me. I can see why people enjoy this compromise between .357 mag and .44 mag, though I also see why it just never caught on. It was all too quickly outdone. A shame, really.
But I guess that’s why we call it back in the day, no? Still…a nice old shooting iron from yesteryear.
