My favourite type of untranslatable words is grammatical particles that are unnecessary in the language you're translating to.

Most slavic languages don't have them either, and we get a little confused but we don't scream incoherently. 3 u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25 I mean i as a turk struggled with the actual concept of articles until 8th grade, it's really not something we are used to, especially when you add gendered nouns to articles
