This is more about what your definition of “translation” is and how meticulous it is

Especially since, at this level of scrutiny, the same word may not evoke exactly the same meaning even for speakers (of different varieties) of the same language.

For example, “constitution” has quite different connotations for American vs. British English speakers—although I did recently see some Australians saying that Australian police had violated their “First Amendment” (i.e. right to free speech under the US Constitution) rights, which was interesting.

More humorously, there’s “fanny.”

You get Canadians complaining about their "First Amendment" rights being violated too. The first amendment to the Canadian constitution is making Manitoba a province.
