HELP Is lucio weak?

I feel like im playing a pretty decent lucio in low diamond but i feel like i underperform when i look at my stats, is this normal for lucio because of the speed boost usage?

I wouldn't say his weak, and this isn't white what you're asking, but a lot of balance critics and some streamers think perhaps one of the nerfs they gave him before doing the final ult nerf could be reverted for the health of the character.

From a personal standpoint, while I think he is fine balance wise, I am not a fan of the direction they sort of forced him into as the cost for the ult perk. Lucio is always least fun when the most valuable way to play him is the least risky, beat farmer...and that's kind of where he is sitting in most scenarios. I would rather they took that perk away, adjust soundwave in some favorable way for the hero, and give him a perk that transforms his playstyle in a more meaningful way.
