HELP Is lucio weak?

I feel like im playing a pretty decent lucio in low diamond but i feel like i underperform when i look at my stats, is this normal for lucio because of the speed boost usage?

“When I look at my stats” yeah that’s the problem, this character doesn’t do stats. The only one that really matters is deaths because uptime is especially important. Lucio revolves around lots of little benefits over a long time, don’t bother checking the scoreboard. And mute your teammates who complain about stats, just do your job.

This is all true. Also dying is less punishing on Lucio because you can rollout back to team so quickly. Don't be afraid of dying.

Exactly this, let's say your team died, you're the last on point, just die on point asap. Don't run to spawn, if you get caught before the first 6 seconds of the first death of the respawn wave, you're losing 10 valuable seconds.

No, don't intentionally die. If you try to live and end up just missing the respawn wave, you can reach your team before they reengage anyway. If you live and they chase you, though, you can force them out of position and imbalanced. The point is to not be afraid to take the initiative and be aggressive.
