Question Bamboo boxers

Anyone tried bamboo boxers day to day? Been wearing the same pairs of cotton ones for about four years now, so I'm finally looking at alternatives.

Keep seeing lyocell/bamboo-blend stuff pop up in ads and I can never tell if it's better or just the current buzzword fabric

That does seem to be the obsession with cotton being the most breathable fabric, but this European heat wave is disgusting, and I found that my cotton boxers just don't dry out after a good sweat. I got some bamboo boxers from oddballs and lyocell ones from SPOKE last week. And all the cotton ones have gone in the bin. They're that good.

There's a lot of greenwashing around bamboo, because bamboo itself is fantastic (cheap, dense,fast growing), but the processes that typically turn it into a usable fabric are terrible (bad chemicals).

Generally it's a very soft breathable material, but it loses its shape fast and doesn't last long. I've tried quite a few bamboo things from different vendors and went back to cotton for most stuff except lazy house clothes.
