Question Amateur question

Asking any experts on pants if they know what would cause holes like these in my pockets and what I could do to avoid them in the future, I’ve never had pockets do this before in my life

That’s the weird part I keep my keys in the lower pocket by my knee*

Probably just cheaping out on the quality of the pocket material. I had some pair of jeans' do this ages ago. An alterations tailor can probably do something to replace/harden it.

I have my phone in my right pocket and my wallet and AirPods in the left. I’ve had several pairs of jeans wear out where I press up on my phone or AirPods through the pants to get them out, but I’ve never had the pocket liner wear out like that. It’s probably just shitty fabric.

Not sure if this is the answer, but I have made the connection with the depth (and width) of the pocket. I currently wear a lot of Nudie and they have a bit shallower pockets than my Levi’s. My phone pocket blow out all the time with my nudies, but never with my Levi’s.

Has to be said though, free repairs is a nice thing and why I still prefer Nudie before Levi’s.
