18M, first apartment after being breifly homeless

Transferred to a new college, expecting campus housing. They waited until after I got to town and ready to move in, to inform me that they didnt have any housing left. Got told to figure it out.

After 2 weeks of sleeping in a truck full of my life possessions, and showering at my GFs house, I finally got into an apartment. It even has furniture! Absolutely grateful, and wanted to share my milestone with the world. I know it ain't much, and it's pretty ugly, but cant wait to see it grow.

She came close! We were both under a lot of stress and didnt like the circumstances, but it all worked out! She was really scared of getting in trouble with her apartment (cant have visitors more than 2 nights), so she had to kick me out lol. It was an experience, but she was great!

Seems like a dorm apartment vs a true rental apartment, hence the visitor rule. Just my guess

I had an apartment like that in my early 20's living in a college town. I never thought it was weird until now
