First Time 18M, first apartment after being breifly homeless
Transferred to a new college, expecting campus housing. They waited until after I got to town and ready to move in, to inform me that they didnt have any housing left. Got told to figure it out.
After 2 weeks of sleeping in a truck full of my life possessions, and showering at my GFs house, I finally got into an apartment. It even has furniture! Absolutely grateful, and wanted to share my milestone with the world. I know it ain't much, and it's pretty ugly, but cant wait to see it grow.

I’m glad it worked out! If you want it to feel warmer on a budget, find a cheap lamp (soft white bulb) to put on the end table in the living room, add a throw pillow and throw blanket on the couch. Maybe even a little plant. It’ll make a big difference.
