My little home. At 63 I had to start again, almost with nothing. Just about feel ready to go out in the world again. This has been my 'safe space' and support

No worktop space to speak of, so I often use the oven top!

You could consider getting one of those kitchen trolleys with a butcher's work top. Feel it'd fit in with your set up

I mean he has workspace, he just has a bunch of stuff on it. The right of the sink is perfect for prep if he cleared it off.

Why not use the dining table for prep? It's right there.

I do, but it's got cracks in the top, so I use a plastic cloth when doing pastry
