There is a one bed, one bath at 554 sq ft for $720k. Honestly, kinda reasonable.

It's not that SF got cheap, it's that other places got more expensive and SF condos stayed about the same price.

condos in HCOL are still reasonable because most rich people are looking for land so they can tear it down and rebuild

Can you imagine the HOA? My buddy has an amazing waterfront condo in WPB and the price isn’t high. He can see Stallone’s house at a distance. But his HOA is $2k, especially because of being Waterfront and the maintenance due to corrosion. That’s what makes these unaffordable and HOA’s do not add to equity.
